Talking Ok so here's my Velvet Revolver "Slither" Cover

When I did the DTNA video I also did this one the next day. I wasn't a huge VR fan, although I did see them live actually before their first album came out when "Slither" was just released at the Wiltern in LA. It was actually a really good show even though we had to stand for 2 hours...no seats. Kinda burned out on them after that first album.

I used my Wolfgang because funny enough this song (and a lot of VR's stuff I think) is in standard tuning. I had a couple Slash tones on Guitar Rig I used for everything, even though Dave Kushner was the other guitar player in the band. Imagine it as Slash playing all the parts. I put as much as I could in the video, there's a lot of little parts and doubled things I left out simply because they weren't that necessary to see, and frankly the video had enough picture-in-picture shit already.

The backing track for this one is actually really good, even the singing is good. So that was also a big reason I did it.

    Enjoy!

    That sounded great!

Being a fan of Slash, I enjoyed some of VR. This is one of their best. You rocked, man. Great job. Love the black Peavey.
