I think what happens is the Hall voters have just gotten younger and just dint pay the homage to older eras. Which is a shame, and the criteria is always changing, but Jacoby should be in without a doubt, hell playing o line back then was an art, and being great at it was damn near impossible

Interesting turn of events in SF.

Richard Sherman to the 49ers. Never in a million years did I ever think that would happen.

Sherman signed a heavily "INCENTIVE" laden contract. To actually get the $$, he has to play well and make the Probowl, ect.... At 30 and coming off an injury, the deal is actually low risk for the 49ers with the incentives.

Even if he is a step slower then his prime, he may be able to dial it up for a year or 2. Also pass on some knowledge to the younger players. I believe he especially wants to get back at the Seahawks..... More known for his physical play then his pure speed anyways.

4 time Pro Bowl. 1 Super Bowl ring.

I think his major requirement was...... "Do you play the Seahawks twice a year??" Probably came down to SF or LA so he could be in back California as well.

“I’m vengeful that way . . . vengeful,” Sherman said in an interview with Peter King of the MMQB.

He’s only 29...it’s really comes down to how well he recovers from his Achilles injury....

Lol I hope he pics Wilson off 3 or 4 times next year. Well, it was a good run, but Seahawks need to re-tool.

Drew Brees just made a quick 50 million for 2 years at 39 years old. I remember when qbs over 30 were old and washed up. I think the owners are regretting protecting these guys so much years ago because they hang around forever now and print money.

Poor George Blanda is rolling over in his grave he probably never made over 100 grand a year lol.

God, I'm gonna have study rosters before the year starts. Lots of action going on.
Sammy did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.
Michael did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.

Q: who was the biggest douche that you have worked with?

A: Eddie Van Halen hands down he threatened all the stage hands that if we wernt all pushed to the side when he got off stage that he would "bash our faces in"

Now the new David-Lee-Roth-Van Halen album, “Tokyo Dome In Concert,” is available for purchase, and it’s super, super, super, super, super, super, crazy bad. - Doug Elfman

Except Cousins is in his prime Herschel was done by the time he got to the Vikings

Cousins stats over the last three years, his three as Starter
Average 4500 yds a year passing
    Average 27 TDS
    Average 11 ints

In the Vikings entire history they have never had 3 years of stats like that at QB, they signed him to a short contract so if it doesn’t work out no problem

By the way, Brees Stats averages as a charger before going to the Saints with a good coach to coach him

Ave over 4 years as starter
    3200 yds passing
    19 TD
    16 iN

I think the Vikings got a steal

Kirk Cousins is a bleeping genius.

He is going to make $128M guaranteed over five years (last two and then this contract), and then, be an unrestricted free agent again at 32.

By the time he hits the market again, it will be $35M a year for a top ten QB. Unless he has a bad injury, he is probably going to make $300M in his career. Wow.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

A man's rights rests in three boxes: the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

I don't ever want to hear a starting NFL qb complain about anything ever again. Hell the backups too.
