then it's not. But yes, FLYING IS SAFE all the way up to the scene of the crash.

Gonna have to look for some webcam areas to upload in this thread. One of my favorite was St. Maarten. But, since hurricane Irma hit them directly, they've been offline for obvious reasons. Haven't checked them in awhile, maybe they have the cam back up. Maho Beach is airplane porn for up close and personal landings.

Now, for my absolute FAVORITE aircraft ever..... the classic Boeing 727. Most are all gone and very few remain flying, however, what a beautiful, stylish airplane. The 747 is a close 2nd, and those too are finding their way to the desert graveyards as well.
Military aircraft......shit. To many to mention right now.

My favorite plane is the pinnacle of the last propeller driven fighter planes.

now helicopters is this thing that looks like it shouldn't even be able to fly.

I saw a version of this Russian cargo plane at DFW one Saturday.

    The Antonov-An-225 Mriya

    Now we're talkin'!!!!

Love ALL things aviation, hence my user name. (though that was more due to having writer's block when I signed up.)

I fly anywhere between 35 and 45 times per year for my job and I get to experience everything from the 17 seat Beechcraft all the way up to the 777. I have to say my favorite ride is the 787...what a sweet machine. I also had the pleasure of flying on a brand, spanking new 737-Max 2 weeks ago. It was 6 weeks old and still had the "new plane" smell and no stains on the carpets. Give it a week...

Back in August I was in Seattle (one of my customers is there so I get to visit 3 or 4 times a year) and I had some down-time so I went to Boeing Field to hang around. Turns out the Blue Angels were there getting ready for Seafair that coming weekend. I happened to catch them screaming across the field and breaking apart as they prepared to land. It was beyond amazing!

No sir. One of the greatest VH Links myths was that I am a pilot. No such luck. Oh...and I'm sure it wasn't that big of a myth.

    Roger that.

Someone here is a pilot with Delta and for the life of me I can't remember who it is. We talked about him flying with them, but that was like 15 years ago or so.....lol

So the new 787 is nice, huh? Haven't been on one yet.
