I saw them with Dave Romaine on drums, Jerry Goodman on violin and Dave LaRue on bass. Great show! Got to talk to a guy from Augusta who remembered hearing Morse at 14. "I was 18 and working at this pizza place, and all of a sudden I heard this sound coming from the other side of the wall that sounded like Jimmy Page. I went in there and there was this 14 year old kid with blond hair down in his face doing Page, Clapton, everybody, just like them. I couldn't believe it!"

I also got to interview Steve Morse once. Still have the interview burned to CD! Nicest man you could meet, super down to earth and even self-effacing, and also radiates intelligence without trying to. I really felt like I'd learned a thing or two talking to that guy.

Could never get into Steve Morse.

He just picks everything & picks so hard.
It's fatiguing to listen to, at least from my stand point.

Caught the Derry, New Hampshire show a couple weeks ago. Played for about 2 hours & 10 minutes (2 and a half with a 20 minute break in the middle). Insanely good show.
