    Fiending? Great word!

Love that little bit that starts about 30 seconds. Would love to hear if there's more to that.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em. -

Exactly. LOL at him dropping everything for another stint with VH.

He hasn’t even talked to them in 18 years.

His one album and tour with the band completely bombed.

Gary Cherone has too much self respect to be involved with the shit show that is Van Halen Inc.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

For a seven figure paycheck I suspect Gary would certainly consider a tour with VH.....To be clear, as a reunion with all the singers. It'll never happen, mind you, but I bet he'd do it if offered the opportunity.

I bet Gary would do a 40 show tour for way less than 7 figures... maybe $400,000 is all you'd need to offer him to pique his interest...

He's most likely not really making that much money with Extreme...

Why would VH ever do a tour with Gary? There is maybe 1 person out of ever three cities who even knows or gives a care about any track off of VHIII. That record was a gigantic boatload of fail.

Because he'll sing all 2.5 eras.

So will the most recent winner of American Idol, doesn't mean I want to hear it.

Gary Cherone for some reason didn't fit. It happens.

For a guy that put his body through the kind of abuse he has it's astonishing to me that EVH looks as good as he does at his age.

I mean Malcom Young and David Cassidy both died in their mid 60s this week. EVH will be 63 in January and he looks better than some guys I've seen that are in their 50s.

    Amazing.
The only genre I really know is Van Halen.

I'd add the term 'inner peace' as well. He's conquered his demons... Not just addictions, but his fear of simply being a normal guy with a happy family, who's comfortable in his own skin.

Everyone from VH, past and present, seem to look a LOT better than most of if not all of their contemporaries. In Dave, Ed, and Al's cases, it helps that they keep their hair tamed appropriately at their ages. I know Harpo will argue that point, but I'm more talking about when we get older, probably 98% of us are not going to have as thick of hair as when we were younger.

As thick as Ed's hair is, in 2012 when it was growing out, even his hair was much thinner and more scraggly then when he was younger. He and Dave and Al just look better with shorter hair now.

Contrast that to the homeless bag lady look that Steven Tyler and Joe Perry are still sporting, as if they're trying to convince themselves that they're still 25.

He must have a lot of Viking blood.

The benefit of him being able to "sing" all 2.5 eras is overtaken by the crushing weight of negatives associated with him being in that role.
