All the evidence is there Sammy. They don’t care about you or Mike. Your a good man, and you’ve tried. Don’t let it get to ya. Concentrate on a new CF album, get focused and STFU. You don’t need the VH guys, they are poison.

Rock stars are seemingly the only males on the planet that can hold onto grudges like 13 year old girls.

I also agree that Sammy is being a baby about not getting birthday wishes from the brothers. As for Mike, IF the brothers didn't acknowledge the loss of Mike's grandson, then that's pretty cold in my book. Considering that Dave did and happens to be their lead singer (at least we think he is).

    I can honestly say..... I don't care.

New album or tour announced? Sure.

Charity funds, dog pics, old grudges and new guitars?

    meh....whatever.

Sam was asked a question by Trunk and he answered, i think Trunk knows at this point that Sam is going to answer these types of questions so he has them loaded up and ready to go.

for a long time around here a lot of guys who used to defend Ed used to always bring up the fact that Mike didn't go to or send anything to Ed and Al's mothers funeral-which we still don't know if this is true or not but it was often paraded out there like it was some way of justifying Ed and Al's anger towards Mike, now we know Ed and Al didn't lift a finger when Mike's grandson passed away, I wonder if we'll still hear about Ed and Al's mothers funeral as a way of justifying Ed and Al.

Sam being "upset" about not getting any type of contact from Ed and Al on his birthday is kind of silly I guess, I see what he's saying in regards to the fact that so many around them in the RnR community are dropping like flies, I understand that he would rather be on good terms with Ed and Al but unless there is some kind of act of God it's not going to happen.

well, he's got a tv show, a syndicated radio show, he just toured, he's getting awards-a humanitarian award and another one and he was just interviewed by Trunk who like him or not is still a pretty big hard rock radio interviewer......I don't think he has to worry about being ignored.

And, due to point number two, now i highly question any sort of 40th anniversary
    tour.

Sam sounds like this stuff really has gotten him down.
He's fixated on the brothers, like the guy who "moved on" from his ex, yet still
    obsesses over her on Facebook.

He's become so whiney about it, i actually feel a little badly for him.

You go back in time, the dawn of 5150, and the guys were in love with each other.
He must revisit those times in his mind & think, What happened?

It obviously bothers him a great deal.
He realizes he's mortal and could go at any time now. And he clearly still loves Eddie and Alex, but he knows how difficult they are and how badly they screwed him over in the past. It's hard not to feel bad for Sammy. I really think he would be happy if he simply could just be friends with Eddie and Al again. I think he genuinely misses them.

I guess this is it. There's no way these guys are ever going to do a real tour again at their ages. This past tour is the first time I've heard Al struggle a bit.

Not using this as condoning the VH Brothers not reaching out to Mike about his grandson's death but there was a rumor (yes I know) that Mike never reached out to the brothers when their mother died. Of course only three people really know if that is true but it was started somewhere. Not that it excuses the VH brothers from not reaching out but if Mike never reached out, well I can see why the brothers would do that. They are as vengeful as Arya on GOT
