Sounds like the plot to So This Is Lust? Not exactly a Dirty Movie. When Push Comes To Shove, that's how the Sinner's Swing down on Mean Street.

    DAVE vs SAMMY

People need to let this go.....it is like comparing an ex wife to your current wife...you can say how things would have be different if she were still here but she left you, so you moved on with your life.....

Same with Van Halen...would they have liked to have Roth stay, yes...but he decided to leave so they moved on.......

and the rest is history….. well until 1996……..lol

The solo in "You're no good" is jaw dropping.

Right out of the gate, he's saying, "Remember how good i was on the first album?
    Well, i'm even better now..."

He stopped doing those ending cadenzas, but he laid everything out in the main solos.

It's always bugged me that they cut away from Eddie during the solo in the video. That sort of thing happened all the time in videos and it drove me crazy.

    Super annoying, i know.

And they seemed to do this with every band.
I swear the camera people did not know the difference between the Bass or the guitar.
In one TV spot for Kiss "Shock me," as soon as Ace launches into his signature solo,
the camera zooms in on Gene wagging his tongue and pounding his Bass.
    And it stays on Gene.
