No one said that it would prevent a terrorist attack. You've moved 5 steps ahead. There is zero reason to wear a mask in public, regardless of who you are.

I surely could understand why this woman would cover her face.

It actually is very much for us to decide. That's the way the world and societies work. This costume is being used to intimidate the public at large. They are wearing these things because they are being oppressed and enslaved mentally and physically. That is wrong, period. I see what you're trying to say with the disfigured woman in your other comment. She wasn't wearing a mask and body suit when she was attacked by some psycho and I guarantee that she won't be after recovery.

But that's part of the problem now.

We do have so many people that want to decide what others can and can't do even if it doesn't effect us at all beyond our personal feelings of not liking it.

Public safety, is for the public to choose.

People aren't protected by such a law.

If a man has so much control of a women in a relationship that he can force her to wear a mask in public he probably has enough control to stop her from appearing in public at all if such laws like these are putting into place.

I understand that some people back such laws with good intentions, but often times it ends up backfiring.

She was gorgeous. Islam really messed up her face and life. Keep 'em coming though, England. It's already too late.

    2012 -
    London;
    Muhammad and Mohammad

Figures from the Office of National Statistics show Muhammad overtook Daniel as the capital's name of choice.

Mohammed - spelt with an 'o' and an 'e' - also makes an entry at number four in the top 10 most popular boys names in London.

And that was 7 years ago.

They'll breed out the westerners in no time. Already well on their way. Bye, England. Bye Europe. What a disaster. So tragic. Idiots.

I think that overall it's good. Those poor women though won't be allowed out of the house now by their husbands and Islamic communities, and those who dare venture out can expect a bottle of acid getting thrown in their face, and/or getting raped (women without their heads covered have it coming in Islam). Islam is oppression. Islam literally means "submission". For the men it means submission to their god, and for the women submission to their husbands. Islam sucks.

For Western society it's a move in the right direction, for many reasons.

I think there's a rather large difference between something like the hijab (which my boss at work wears interestingly enough) and the something like the niqab or burka. I have no problem at all with the first one (hell nuns wear something pretty similar) but the niqab/burka is a whole other matter. Having to cover your body from head to toe is abuse in my opinion. I'd have no issue at all with banning the niqab completely - never mind just from public service jobs. But banning the hijab I think is a step way too far. At that point you're governing clothing style.

I agree. I've no issue with the hijab (open face). This Quebec law addresses the latter, fully veiled. Good on Quebec ousting that.
