I wanted to slam my head on the desk when I read it again. It's right there at the bottom of the letter but I had my mind made up I guess. So I managed to ignore it.

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but I watched the premiere episode of Mr. Mercedes last night and it opens with a guy driving a car (on purpose) into a group of people waiting in line outside of a jobs fair.

This originally aired on August 9th... three days before Charlottesville.

    Maybe just a coincidence?

As horrible as it is, it is an effective way to take out large groups of people.
Kind of like a mechanical suicide bomber.

I wonder if groups like Isis have conference calls & Monday meetings:

Cars will be effective tools in our mission.

Go big or go home, cars cannot send a message like 9/11.

Mohammed, there is no way to effectively orchestrate that in 2017,
automobiles can still instill fear & terror.

What about using hoses, people hate getting wet.

    Kabul, you are fired!

I admit when I'm wrong after I find out that I am. I've constantly admitted when I failed to articulate my points as effectively as I could've. But it's far better to just pretend otherwise because your bubble would be pricked.

The things you want me to admit to are things that aren't remotely true. Why would I remotely admit to something that's a lie?

I think that all of this talk about President Trump being a racist is hysteria. When I voted for Trump, there was NOTHING inside of me that was thinking or saying, "Yeah -- Now --- Finally Getting to Put the Black down!!"

So, this so-called "racist", chose to have his Inauguration Day Eve - "Make America Great Again" concert ... at .... The Lincoln Memorial.... where "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" was performed.

Yeah, that really sounds and looks like where a racist would hold an event and what song they would allow to be played at their Inauguration Day Eve event.

I wasn't making it about me, I'm just pointing out that I do this, and I admit when I screw up. You dare to think you don't use confirmation bias, and that you don't seek only things that validate your own opinion? Newsflash, everyone does, everyone is a partisan, everyone shits, and everyone eats. Acting that you are in some way above any of it is a lie and a farce.

P.S. For the guy below, Mr...Rover, I believe...did you pay attention to any of what I said that not all racism is explicit, and that using "this is the way things are" is essentially letting bigotry still take hold with no attempt to change anything. Most people who voted Trump didn't have explicitly racist impulses, but many of them did use racism to vote for him, they just weren't aware of it, because they're hardwired to accept the power structure that has existed from time immemorial, and don't think there's a need for further change. That is racism, even if they lie to themselves and think that it isn't.

Actually, I think it is safe to say that none of us will ever pay attention to you ever again, so even by a sheer stroke of Lithium Luck and you write something poignant instead of ignorant, it will be missed, because no one will read it.

He and Eddie Van Halen should write a book together. Call it "Not My Fault"
