It's bizarre to me that we live in this ultra PC world, where you dare not offend or appropriate
cultures, and supply safe spaces, yet this same generation is the one that watches people
drown like it was a youtube video, or bullies others into suicide.

It's like a generation of extremes:
Do NOT refer to that person as she, that person is gender neutral. Respect them.
Check it out, she filmed her suicide on social media! It's goin' viral!

As we are all well aware of, only whites are racist in the 21st century, and that's it. No one else is. Sounds a bit silly doesn't it.

Na, that's a little overboard, HH. BLM can't stand behind this kind of behavior. They stood there and watched a black dude die. I don't see them supporting that.

    I didn't watch it.
Kids today are just so cruel. Like Jape said, everyone gets off on being evil these days.

They still should be punished. Some kind of punishment for not helping. That's not helping anyone. They need to know they were wrong.
I'm guessing they can't swim. Throw them in, make them live that moment. They might change their tune.

The problem is they didn't physically cause the guy to drown.
They did not throw him in the Lake.

    Same with the "texting" chick.
I do not think the verdict was correct.
She did not physically lock him in the car.
The Law can only go so far, imo.

I think these people are disgraceful, but they cannot be held accountable
for decisions made by other people,

Yeah, that's the law, but damn. Some community service...something.

In most states it's illegal to leave a scene of an accident without reporting it.
IMHO these prosecutors could have charged them with that.

We need to change the laws then. I bet if that was a rich prominent white guy's daughter that was drowning...there would be gnashing of teeth all over the country and public outrage for change but as it was...it was just a black guy.

Seriously this should have been a crime. How else do you instill common deceny when it's lacking so much these days, by the breakdown of the family. Especially in minority communities. A guy is dead and the legal community is just "okey doky...technically there's nothing we can do".

We can no longer afford to rely on "that's the parent's job".

We have some serious animals coming down the pike.

Agreed. They filmed his death with the same tool they could have used to call for help. So much of society is nearing the point of moral bankruptcy.

It is the parents job but we need to do something as clearly a bunch of parents suck at their jobs.

for me there are multiple levels of depravity here

It's one thing to watch a man drown and do nothing. I can see not jumping in to save him, but throw him something or just call 911 ( looks like the only thing they can charge them with is failure to report a death)

then there is the level of sitting there with your buddies making sport of it

then there is the level of thinking to video it which takes it to a whole nuther level of disrespect for life...and when did we get to the point where taking pictures of people's misfortunes or accidents or misery became an OK thing to do and share? is all of life "pics or it didn't happen"?

then there is the idea of posting it on facebook with no real understanding of your complicity in this man's death.

in this case you peel the layers and what you get down to is a black hole where a soul should have been but just evil resides there

These guys are so incapable of human decency leads me to the knowledge that sooner or later....hell, just make that sooner, either they'll all be serving time for one crime or another or one of them will be laying on a sidewalk shot up by the other after a stupid argument at a party and someone in their group of acquaintances is going to take a selfie with the body and blood in the background

    Lord hear our prayer.

I can only assume they were black youths? Just assuming because I haven't heard Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton get involved.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Female hunter found dead after apparent suicide following threats from animal rights activist

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...t-suicide.html

People are celebrating her death on her facebook page and in the comments section.

Just more examples of these lovely Brits that everyone tells me about. This is why leftist and progressives must be treated with contempt at every turn.

Lastly, animals don't have rights. I don't condone killing them for the hell of it, but they don't have rights.
