They're in trouble then. I don't think the singer is going thru any blues phase like the rest.

If the general public's perception is, that Led Zeppelin is summed up by the screaming and screeching found in "Communication Breakdown" and "Immigrant Song," then I can see how the public must think that GVF is "The Next Led Zeppelin!!!" But Led Zeppelin is so much more than what two of their MOST COMMERCIAL hits bring.

GVF, I grew up with Led Zeppelin, I knew Led Zeppelin — Led Zeppelin was my musical companion. GVF, you are no Led Zeppelin.

Iíve not been able to make it thru a video yet. Just canít. Neighbors dogs go nuts. Lead singer is totally abrasive to me. Nothing about him makes me say ďWow, I gotta see more.Ē The rest of the band is obviously talented though, regardless of how much theyíre aping someone else. I hope Iím wrong and all of their Rock star dreams come true.

I've posted these ladies before, but just to be sure everyone knows, if you need new rock-blues, try Larkin Poe. They're doing music our generation will find very tolerable without being able to point to a specific influence. And they're from just a few exits up the interstate from me! Why couldn't I ever have run into them at Walmart?! (And why can't they like men twice their age?)

Megan has a D'arcy thing I like, and Rebecca is just flat one of the hottest women I've ever seen in my life. The great thing about them is you can enjoy some tunes while emptying a jar of Vaseline.

When I see GVF I'm thinking of these brother's stab at the "Rock" thing.

I watched this last night. They go off on some improvs and they've gotten pretty good at it. Very ballsy to do in front of a festival crowd that has Twitter attention spans. The bass player and drummer are definitely the real deal. The drummer does a big flourish at the end that's incredible. If this band ever falls through they could stick together and have a career as a rhythm section for hire.

Decent band but the drummer can't launder Bonhams wank rags. I'm good with the singer. Hey its better than Limp Biskit.

I find it very strange that these guys, 2 generations removed, are nailing so many intricate little idiosyncrasies of Zep's style.

It is so accurate it is freakish.

    I wish them luck.

Nah their just stealing shit from old blues bands.
