    Default OK - my turn

Well, I guess I will be brave enough to put some stuff in here.

Some of this I have already posted before. Have some other covers, originals etc. that I am working on that I will put up as I get them done, just starting to always make sure I have the record button on.

Have a gig next month that if anything is really good I will share as well.

I am not going to do multiple threads for my shit, so I will just update this thread as I put up my paltry contributions.

All of you guys are so much better than I am, and that is not false modesty, but, fuck it, the worst thing you can say is I suck!

The TNT is a backing track with the vocals, background vocals and bass removed. So the vocals and bass are me, the guitar and drums are a backing track. I sometimes do that when I am learning a new song to play live to see if I am getting right, also as practice for playing and singing at the same time.

I'm no Geddy Lee, I struggle with doing both at the same time.

That's why I like AC/DC. Easy bass lines.

I saw a local band cover that song when I was in college and its a tough song to sing imo. Very nice I wish God gave me musical talent.

I am sure any singers on here will understand when I say this...I wish I could have bottled my voice that day, I felt like I could sing anything when I recorded that. That is about as good as I can sound.

The hard part believe it or not was the Oi Oi Oi parts, kind of hurt to sing them getting the sound right.

One more for today and that is it.

An instrumental cover of Tattoo that Chris95 and I did.

He did all the guitars, I did the bass and keys.

I programmed the basic drum pattern used and put in the drum fills on my Alesis electronic kit (I can't keep the beat for four minutes, but I can play a fill!).

I think it turned out real well.

I listened to this on the Soundcloud page and wondered why you didn't include it in your first post! It came out really well indeed. Nicely done, guys.

I enjoyed that a lot. The live cover of Roadhouse Blues is neat as well.

I have a bunch of stuff on my Soundcloud page as well - studio tracks, live covers, and home demos w/drum machine. I'll work on contributing to this forum, even though all the material is literally years old... Haha.

Great job, DD. I've heard your Roadhouse Blues on here before, and your voice is really suited for doing Morrison.

Loved your take on Bon as well. Still have to listen to the Personal Jesus and Tattoo ones.

Even though Robbie and I don't like each other, I've heard some of his SoundCloud stuff from back in the CVH days and can say that he's got some pretty cool stuff on there.
