I'll definitely check these out when I get home from work today, Jedi...

As a huge fan of your playing, I already know I'm in for a treat!

Thanks so much! That is indeed an EVH Wolfgang neck pickup, but it's in my grey partscaster.

Nice work Jedi... They both have an EVH/Nuno feel to them. I suck at writing music, luckily 3 guys in my band are avid songwriters.... I just come up with the solos. Whenever I try to writewith something, it just sounds like a Dokken rip off...

Just listened to "Altered Dream", and sorry to give a recently very popular reply on the Links, but WOW!!!!

I thought the riffs and arrangements were superb, and your playing was flawless. Very well done, bro!
Loved the overall tone, which reminded me of the F.U.C.K album crossed with ADKoT - if that makes sense? Bottom line is, the sound smoked!

Really cool how you did the muted parts to the riffs in places. Love the harmonics at the beginning of the solo, and how you later threw a couple of those "zingers" in - where Ed would pick & slide a note up the E string, pull off to the open E, and pick the unfretted string a couple more times. I know you know what I mean! LOL.

Reminded me a lot of The Dream is Over, in places. The bass playing and drum programming was top notch as well. You're an incredible musician.
    Awesome all around!

Going to listen to the second song now, but wanted to reply to each on their own merits while they were still fresh in my mind and ears....

    Yeah..., the second one sucked.

Just kidding!!!!! Bravo again. I dug the fade in and the single note picking. A few of the phrases (in the verse section?) almost had a bluesy vibe at times, no?
Mix was good, and the tune had a pro quality to it. They both did, actually.

Love the pick scrape stuff during the breakdown/solo section, and the neck pickup vibe in the solo was killer!
Awesome playing and lead lines, Jedi.

I'd buy an album of this stuff! Seriously, and I'd like an autographed copy someday...

That's the first up close look I've gotten, of your Pewter DeLorean!
That is nice! It's seems quite versatile.
I kinda feel like you gave us a chance, to peek under the hood, of that fine machine.

Is that the plutonium access hole, on the side of the heel, for the flux capacitor? LOL!

Seriously though, I'm curious, what is that spot?

Hey Kirk Hammet, welcome to the VH Links!!
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

    @DD - LOL

@turnbuckle - haha, it is kinda my DeLorean guitar. The "plutonium access hole" is a Gotoh truss rod adjustment standard on warmoth necks.

Damn dude! A couple smokin' tunes there.
Love the open string chords in Altered Dreams.
I've got some tunes....I wish I knew how to do all that computer stuff.

    That guitar is awesome!
