Default Greg Biffle sued by ex-wife for hidden cameras inside home

    from msn.com:

Greg Biffle took the 2017 NASCAR season off after parting ways last November with Roush Fenway Racing, but now has his hands full with a lawsuit brought against him by his ex-wife and ex-mother-in-law.

According to WSOC-TV in Charlotte, the lawsuit alleges Biffle used hidden cameras for secret peeping inside his home, including in the master bedroom and in the guest bedroom where Biffle’s former mother-in-law stayed.

The lawsuit, which also names Roush Fenway Racing as a defendant, alleges Biffle recorded his ex-wife and ex-mother-in-law on a video recorder and showed that video to other people, violating their privacy.

Biffle, however, said under oath the hidden cameras were installed for security purposes because he believed his maids at his Lake Norman home north of Charlotte were stealing, not because he was spying or peeping on his wife, who divorced Biffle in 2015.

The 47-year-old Biffle, who joined NASCAR's top circuit full-time in 2003, has 19 wins and 92 top-fives in 510 career starts. He's winless since the 2013 season and is unlikely to return to the sport, although he never officially announced his retirement from Roush Fenway Racing, the only NASCAR Cup team for which he has driven.

So a Gibbs team finally won - boo! At least if I recall correctly, Hamlin wasn't involved in the shenanigans last year at Talladega. Still, maybe they'll find something that renders the win "encumbered"!

good to see Bowman get the 88. He did an admirable job as a fill in and deserves a season or two to show what he can do full time. There was a lot of speculation that Kenseth would be the one, but I've been thinking, even before Bowman was named, that it wouldn't surprise me if Kenseth did end up at Hendrick - but in the 5.

Hendrick is changing the 24 to the 9, and the 5 to the 24. Kind of surprised he won't be running the 5 next year as that's been his number since the beginning. If any number I would've dumped, it would've been the 88.

Looks like they are going to the #9 so that Chase Elliot can run the same # as his father Bill.

    ++++

I am interested in where Matt Kennseth will go. RCR(27)? or Furniture Row(77)?

yeah, I think that part of it is "Awesome", but I'm surprised they are not going with the 5, 9, 24 & 48

Forgot the 27 was open - could be a spot for Kahne, too. Not sure what kind of driver will end up in the 77 - would be a good spot for Kenseth or Kahne, but I feel they'll go young.

I still always think of Kenseth and Dale Jr as young drivers like it was the year 1999 or 2000..... lol..... Crazy that almost 20 years went by and they are now "old guys".

Happy for Truex Jr. He's hot this year. Sort of hard to call him an underdog anymore but he still is in my mind. Something about that plain black car just screams sleeper. Hoping he maintains his momentum & pulls it off.

I keep forgetting to offer a "rest in peace" to Mr. Robert Yates. It sucks not seeing that 28 Texaco car out there anymore.

    RIP.

I remember watching Davey Allison in the Texaco car. Then local NORCAL driver Ernie Irvan drove the #28 for a while.

Nascar is going through a huge change. Many of the personalities from the past 50 years that have helped build and shape Nascar are walking away or dying. Sadly I do not think they are ready. Its become very generic, its lost a lot of the flavor. Kyle Busch is a senior driver!!
My guess is several more drivers will be forced out or walk away in the next five years.

And thats about what its worth.

OLO I think you’re correct. The sport is very different from not really that many years ago. Just not exciting form me anymore and I can’t really put a finger on why.

Too many changes to determine a champion is first on my list.
