Default 2nd Cherone album, where did the songs go?

Where did the songs from the 2nd Cherone album go? Apparently some songs were later used for Tribe Of Judah and maybe one turned into It's About Time, but I can't find the information.

The current lineup recorded 35 songs just five years ago and only released 13 of them and you want to know what happened to VH3b?

Yes, I don't like the current lineup.

My question is not what Eddie did with the songs, but only which songs were later used in other projects.

There's a picture floating around of the 2nd album track listing somewhere. I saw it once. I do remember one of the songs was a comical name.

There's an article from the inside talking about the camp working on stuff and it could very well be describing the above for mentioned. Gary even said, I think with Eddie Trunk, that he had heard of of the stuff off ADKOT

I'd rather listen to my dog farting into a kazoo than another Cherone fronted VH album.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

...just looked this up from Issue #15 of The Inside:

    Rock and Roll Cliche
    I Want Her Anyway
    More Than Yesterday
    Love Again
    Miss You Much
    You Wear It Well
    Say Uncle
    River wide
    Left for Dead
That's Why I Love Ya (different version)

...I know there's a discussion thread around here somewhere which details ALL of the unreleased music through the years and which parts of what songs ended up where...probably within the last year, if I remember.

Just poke around the VHLinks seedy underbelly a little. You'll find it.

    I dunno, DD...

While I'm certainly no VHIII apologist, I also don't think the album is the complete abortion that the torch and pitchfork crew around here professes it to be.

We all know EXACTLY where the shortcomings were with that project. That said, given the fact that Ed's in a FAR better headspace, and putting the right producer and engineer in place so that Ed can just write and play, I'd be willing to give that combo a second chance...

Now, if Ed only has ONE MORE album in him, a Gary project is the solid #3 choice.

I agree wholeheartedly. Gary/Eddie did not and does not work. That album blew.

Those songs are credited as being originals for ADKOT. If Cherone heard a few riffs before he left that doesn't mean they were songs ready for VH3 part 2. Which thank god never happened.

i would have been interested in what a 2nd album would have sounded like. Certainly better than the nothing we got for the decade that followed.
