Oh yeah, I'll be scoring this one too!
Should be another great read from another VH insider.
"There's too many people on this basketball that's floating around the sun, who are too afraid to allow themselves to FEEL" - Edward Van Halen
"Van Halen was never about the singer..." - a very wise fan.
"Embrace the past. Live in the moment but keep your eyes on the future, and keep on moving forward..." - Richie Sambora

    Should be a good read...
“And what we have at our fingertips is arguably one of the greatest high tenor voices ever – that was in Michael Anthony. In our tiny little corner of the universe, that voice is as identifiable as the high voice in Earth, Wind & Fire, as identifiable as the high voice in the Beach Boys. Van Halen is an indelicate house blend of both – that’s intentionally. So I would always look forward to that reunion.” - David Lee Roth

Hard to see who this will be skewed more towards, DLR or the rest of VH.

I know he sued VH for $10 million, and I think he sued DLR at one point too.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

We all know the push and pull between the bros and Dave but I'm hoping to read a little more about Mike. A unbiased account.

Oh wow...this should be a good one. Noel was responsible for bringing VH to Tulsa in '78 after bringing the Sex Pistols here a few months earlier. Supposedly there is a photo with Dave and his fist in the hole in the wall, that Sid Vicious had punched.

Noel really dug the Cains Ballroom, so it would be cool to see that show referenced in his book. Yeah...jazzed for this one.

    -EVH about Monk and DLR...

    I guess we'll see.
The only genre I really know is Van Halen.

Eddie described Monk as "DLR's puppet", but not sure how he feels about VH in return.

edit: I see the previous poster beat me to that, lol
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em. -

Noel's book on touring with the Sex Pistols is a great read (although the band says most of it is bullshit.) Looking forward to this. Will be a nice compliment to Greg's awesome book.

In Van Halen land, there's usually THREE sides to every story, so let's see. Should be a good read. I think they already nailed the title and cover photo. Greg's book could've been called that, actually.

I will definitely give this read when it comes out. It should lay the groundwork for the release of Eruption next August (that is if the author doesn't try to delay it yet again for more updates, which is undoubtedly the reason for the initial delay).
