    Question BOBW Tour-Possible Set List?

Should Sammy and Eddie make peace, this would open the doors with what would be the only way they could play together: a Best Of Both Worlds Tour alongside Dave, essentially making VH a 6-piece band, as Mike would find his way in, if only salaried or special guest much like 2004. Should such a tour happen, what would the setlist be? How much of both eras of VH would be explored? Would Dave and Sammy ever stand on stage to sing the few songs they shared in setlists? Your thoughts below.

There's no way Ed and Al are physically capable of playing more than maybe 75-90 min with each singer for a full tour, which means most likely we only get the hits and concert staples from each era. Ironically, most of the songs that most people around here complain about being tired of lol.

Hopefully, we get a new album and tour with Dave instead, and they continue to add new deep cuts to the set list as they've been doing since Dave returned.

Would a single concert in the scale of Led Zeppelin's O2 Arena show be more realistic and likely?

Wolf should sing the 4 or 5 songs from Van Hagar that would hold up in a VH concert. You can't do Amsterdam or Big Fat Money up against Hear About It Later...

As a DLR era fan... I'd be up for a one-off Sammy era show. That would do a world of good for all the fans ... especially if they pulled off a "Frank Ocean" switcheroo and released a new DLR original album the very next day. ('',)b

I am not sure of the musical value of this endeavor. It would depend on the physical and mental health of the parties involved. But I DO think this tour would have immense political implications, in a "come together" type of way, the musical equivalent of peace between Israel and the Palestinians, red state and blue states coming together, pepsi and coke merging, etc, etc. A great step towards peace of earth.

    Never ever going to happen.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

I don't see why it wouldn't happen, actually. You really think EVH wants to take his current immaturity to his grave?
His legacy will read "He was an amazing guitar player, but..."
It's so easy to fix, just one tour, done. Even the Eagles mended fences. Do they really want to be known as the "holding grudges" world record holders among classic rock bands??! Right now they're the worse when it comes to intra-band fighting. It's a sad position to be in.
