    Default Ticketmaster Lawsuit Resolution

The so-called benefits of the now resolved long standing class action lawsuit against Ticketmaster are finally starting to show up for TM users.

To find out what kind of credits you have, you must have an account with TM, log in, go to "My Account," look for the "My Vouchers" link which will bring up a list of individual vouchers, the number of depending on who many TM-bought shows you've seen since 1999 to 2013. The "Free GA tickets" vouchers are good for only specific shows, a list of which has not been posted on TM yet. No doubt they'll be for junk bands and events and not something worthy like GA for a Rolling Stones or Guns n' Roses show.

On my account, I have 16 different vouchers for 2 free GA tickets each, but about a quarter of the vouchers don't have codes. I also have 17 vouchers for $2.25 off a ticket purchase (big whoop!) and 2 free vouchers for $5 off USPS shipping for ticket purchases. Who approved this scam of a settlement?

Maybe I can use a couple $2.25 vouchers towards the $15,790.00 courtside tickets currently onsale on TM's resale site for tonight's Basketball playoff game.

    LOL. What a joke.

I haven't checked my account yet, but I don't see it being very fruitful. Clearly, that was the plan.

I have like 15 vouchers for GA tix, but they haven't' released what shows are eligible.

I'm sure they'll list shows that aren't selling well and they would have given away free lawn seats anyway.

Hot damn. Six GA ticket vouchers!

But, no codes, and I can't find an eligible shows list.

    The scam continues.

All those "free ga ticket vouchers" are now gone from everyone's account. Now accounts just have the $2.25 off a ticket purchase vouchers. Here's the excuse that doesn't make a whole lotta sense:

"Customers should also receive a voucher potentially redeemable for two free concert tickets. These will only be usable if customers redeem less than $10.5 million per year in the previously mentioned discount codes (the $2.25 vouchers). If that happens, customers will be able to use the vouchers for a limited number of tickets to certain events hosted at Live Nation-owned venues, that will eventually be listed here."

    LOL

I found an event on page nine of the list I'd actually make time for, entered the voucher code on the billing page, and got this:

Sorry, the voucher code you entered cannot be used to purchase these tickets.

    I got the same thing.

So I had 15 vouchers for free GA tix in my account. I tried the first code, got that error message. I entered the next voucher code in my list and it worked.

Now I go back into my account and it shows I have ZERO GA ticket vouchers Last time I checked, 15 minus one is 14 not ZERO.

All I have now are a bunch of credits for $2.25

THis is a joke. Ticketmaster is not losing a dime on this. These shows they have listed would be empty regardless so by giving "free GA" tickets, they're losing NOTHING. nonsense

That is the show I was able to get actually.

I love Tesla and Def Lep is really good live but I saw this same show last year lol I probably won't go but for free, why not have the option. the only other show on the list I'd go to is Sabbath, but I already have seats for that show

Yeah I got to give them credit. They are good live. When I saw them last year the whole show was good. I was really surprised at Styx being good. Never really been a big Styx fan. All I know is I hate Dennis deyoung's voice. Tommy shaw lost his voice and still brought it. And tesla sounded great as well. Plus it was viv's first show back from chemo so it was great to see him up there kicking ass. But they tour too much. Had they waited for the new album to drop it would've been different. But as it sits they have over saturated the market.

Right or wrong VH has it right by touring on a bond film cycle. Now regarding studio output that's another story.

As a curiosity, I checked into my TM account (I haven't even used Ticketmaster since at least 2007) and I have 8 discount vouchers and 8 ticket vouchers waiting. There's no way I used TM that much from '03-'07. And it's doubtful I'll use TM to redeem the vouchers going forward.

As stated above, this class action "settlement" is an absolute joke. TM is out pennies on the dollar compared to what they've made over that 10-year period.
