Default In sticking with the odd and conspiracy subjects.....

......and since there is no Van Halen happenings at the moment I thought I would talk about this. It is very, very odd, the whole "Paul Is Dead And Has Been Replaced With A Look Alike Since 1967" thing.
If you have nothing better to do, watch all 3 parts. It definitely seems to be deliberate. And if this was going on with analog and vinyl just think what can be done with digital sound and video

I remember a good friend of mine (with whom I still speak and occasionally play basketball) showing and telling us these things way back when we were in the 5th or 6th grade. The guy was/is a Beatles freak and aficionado. He had us pretty freaked out and almost convinced.

I recently found out about an organization called the Tavistock Institute. People claim that The Beatles and the whole late 60's thing was devised to ruin the Judea/Christian society that America was basically founded on. They claim that there were people leading these bands to write about and push Eastern beliefs, Drugs, Free Love to corrupt the institution of marriage etc.

    Most hilarious theory ever.

Somehow they found a guy who looked exactly like Paul. ...or is it that 1960s plastic surgery pulled it off even though 2016 plastic surgery is still awful and we still see right through it?

And this replacement also had the exact same mannerisms. The exact same speaking voice. The exact same singing voice. Same stage manner. Same love of playing live. Same personality including a fondness for fans. Played multiple instruments.....left handed of course just to make it even more difficult.

Oh yeah...he also was a songwriter who wrote legendary songs and had an epic solo career as well.

And let's not forget this replacement took over leadership of the band too and that he and John continued to associate long after the band broke up.

And best of all? The band went to all that trouble to do it so no one could tell the difference.....and then decided to leave clues about it everywhere!

    ahahahahahahaha!!!

I actually did a paper on "Paul Is Dead" in college (imagine what it would be like today with a computer instead of crappy Xerox scans of my album covers for illustration). The backwards stuff is what always gotten me. What the hell were these acid heads doing spinning their records backwards (you can tell when something's backwards - the outro lyric on "Rain", the "white lodge speak" on "Twin Peaks", etc.). Yeah, it's freaky that "Stairway To Heaven" sounds like that, but I find it hard to believe that it's anything other than coincidence

Did they miss the part where all the Beatles got married?
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

I remember when all this started and spread like wildfire. And remember this was pre internet pre social media. We all went out and got Beatles records to play backwards to hear clues. It was wild.
EVH 1979: Well, actually it's not much of a vacation, because we run everything ourselves. We design our own album cover, we have to be in the office every day to sign checks - the whole corporation revolves around us. Nothing can be done without our approval. We even have photo approval.
