So, for those of you that have satellite radio, what stations do you listen to? I personally prefer Boneyard and Hair Nation.

    I think my presets are:

    Howard 100
    Howard 101
    Hair Nation
    Ozzy's Boneyard

    Classic Rewind
    Classic Vinyl
    Lithium
    Deep Tracks
    70's
    80's
    90's
    Comedy Central’s Uncensored Comedy

I spend most of the time on the bolded channels though

Depends on the time of year, but I usually listen to in no particular order:

    Boneyard
    Classic Rewind
    Blues
    Classic Vinyl
    Deep Tracks
    Margaritaville
    Tom Petty
    Elvis
    Hair Nation

I recently listened to 18: Road Trip (limited time) for a 5 hour drive. It was awesome.

I'd probably listen to more comedy, particularly uncensored, but with kids in the car I can only listen to LaughUSA which half the time is horrible.
CNN may think my opinion matters, but you shouldn't.

and I'm cancelling as soon as Howard is done.

Yeah, when Howard leaves, I'm right behind him.

I mean the music channels are nice, commercial free, but the sound is not great and they repeat the same shit every day like free FM radio.

I stream it at work all day and for example, EVERY day on Hair Nation I hear the same songs from the same bands. And weird bands too, like Baton Rouge and Every Mother's Nightmare. Right now "Black and Blue" Hold on to 18 is playing...AGAIN.

There's so many songs from this genre that could be played and you shouldn't hear a repeat for days even weeks. And some of these bands still put out music. I mean take Motley for instance. They pretty much play stuff up to Decade of Decadence. That came out in 1991. Why not throw in some newer songs once in a while? mix it up. Play some stuff off the Corabi album or Saints of Los Angeles?

THey have good stations with good intentions, just bad execution.

true the music channels get very repetitive and some of the channels are big overlaps as well

I listen to mostly the Howard channels
NPR and margaritaville and No Shoes Radio at work on the weekends
or one of the baseball networks in the office
in the car 70's 80's classic rewind classic vinyl
sometimes Willies Roadhouse and Outlaw Country

124 POTUS Politics (less often now)

if I'm driving long distance I like to mix it up with some talk radio CBC radio, Canada talks, NPR, Fox business, EW whatever

but I agree..75% of what I listen to is Howard and when Howard wraps it up I'll wrap it up too

Had it for a while, but like was mentioned, it got repetitive after time. Mostly Boneyard and Hair Nation. I did also listen to the MLB baseball channel at times. Even the reggae channel sometimes. I was pretty done with Howard many years ago, so I only listened every once in a while.

For music it is easier now to just run my mp3 player or phone through the truck stereo. I also prefer local sports radio (KNBR 680) that focuses on the local teams I like (SF Giants, Warriors, 49ers, Sharks).

As soon as I got Pandora in my car, I was done with Sirius XM. Not a huge fan of Stern, don't mind him, and I think he's a great interviewer, but not worth paying for.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Default SiriusXM

I have no use for Sirius except for Howard. And even Howard I'm bored with. The new shows suck. I mostly listen to the old shows on demand through my phone. Music I just use Spotify or Pandora. I'm for sure gone when Howard is done.

Now in my wife's car we will listen to the music channels but in my car with just me 100% Howard stuff.

Same with sports radio. I only want to hear about local teams so I'll listen to regular radio for that.

It'll be interesting to see how long they survive when Howard leaves.

They'll be fine. Now that everything is streamlined they can survive.

I am in agreement with Brett, I am bored with Howard the last few years. I rarely listen. I did enjoy his show for many, many years back in the day.

After 20 to 30 years, what is left for the guy to talk about?

Do you guys still listen to Howard daily?

    7 days a week

If they lose Howard, they need to drop the price for the sub. Otherwise, they're going to be in trouble retaining subscribers. I'm not paying $15 for them to basically play their different itunes playlists lol.
