    Default Overdrive pedals

Ok so since I sold my 5150III to Brody, I pickup up a fender 68 reverb deluxe. Nice amp. Kinda different ends of the spectrums lol but it comes alive about 6-7 on volume and that's not really feasible for a pregnant ass wife. So anyone know of Oma good complement pedal that won't over Saturate or take away from the charm of the amp. Overdrive? Distortion? I'm lost.

ID:	3451I had a 68 Deluxe reverb for years. I used a Tube Works-Tube Driver with it. It could over saturate it, but I liked it. Take it for what it's worth.

To be perfectly honest, I have a '65 Deluxe Reverb reissue and I ended up liking the basic Boss OD-3 Overdrive pedal.

MXR 5150 overdrive. I was against it. Then got one as a gift. It is a 5150 in a box. You'd have no problem with low volume rockin'. Unless you sold your 5150 to get away from that sound? In which case forget I posted this.
VH III is Ed's solo album. So everybody who keeps saying they wish he'd do one needs to stfu and listen to III. Then stfu again.

No necessarily trying to get away from the sound, it never left lol. I have a soldano slo and a 5150II so I'm set in high gain. Just going for a somewhat sedate don felder vibe.

I've got a '68 Deluxe Reverb reissue and & my favorite OD pedal to use with it is a Wampler Plexi Drive.
I play the amp most of the time on the Custom channel with the volume on 2 to 3.

This is what I was gonna suggest. I ran one for years on my old Twin.
I'd say this, or the Blue Tube (same make) as it has a little more bluesy tone as the name implies, to play with. it's just a little "creamier".
A good ol' Boss OD, or even a Tube Screamer ain't bad choices either!

Check out the Bogner Blue Exstasy pedal. It's got a full eq and a bunch of other options . It will do the Felder sound

That's a cool pedal actually. I tried the Red, not the Blue, but I've seen some demos on the Blue. They are excellent from what I can tell. They are very un-pedal like in a way if you know what I mean. They market them as more of a preamp, and you can see why. While some overdrive and distortion pedals can be a little bottom heavy or woofy, these sound more tailored, and work with the amp very well with all the EQ and other adjustments available. They really sound like part of the amp vs. an add on.
Of course you pay a bit of a premium for it, but I think they are worth it given their versatility and quality.

MXR Super-Badass Distortion. Covers all the bases.
