Thanks Re Moustache! I am getting it insured!
And 2, I have had the amp up to 3/4 volume which is surprisingly INSANE loud for a 15 watter, and still sounds smooth as silk. I'm sure if I pushed it a notch further and went for broke, it may start to honk a but, but anywhere from 1 to near 3/4 power, sounds beauty. Mids to die for.

EVH Lunchbox
I may have to check one out. I already have a soldano slo and a 5150II so I could use another amp.
Still kicking my own ass for selling my 5150IiI combo to Brody. But at least I know he'll enjoy it and I gave him the gift of sweet tone.

I heard a rumor (here) that an alternate version of the lunchbox with a clean channel may come out eventually. That would interest me greatly.

It would just be awesome if Ed could have an amp that kills in red, crunch like a mug in blue and sparkle like the falls of Niagara all in one amp. It seems like there's always a trade off when you have to have a tube amp. At one point I used a a/b switch to go from 5150II to a crate gx solid state. Fucking frustrating.

Digging up an older thread. I’ve had the LBX for about a year. For me it’s a must to have an equalizer in the loop to cut out the crispy/ fizz that you just can’t get rid of otherwise. I use an MXR 10 band, but keep everything right in the middle except the 8k HZ which I drop all the way down. That clears it right up and it sounds great.
The only complaint I’d have would be that I wish the volume was a bit more gradually tapered. Now its loud at 1-2 (even at 1/4 power), which kind of defeats the purpose.
