That's awesome to hear since I just ordered one of the pedals today!

Johnny just paste urls to the videos, don't use the TUBE commands anymore. They show up for both the site and tapatalk if you just put the url. It will automatically parse it, you don't need any commands.

    Brett,

Can you share your settings on your mentioned "brown" tone on your THR10X? I just picked one of these up on super sale at GC and just getting used to the features.

Anyone who has one of the THRX10s and has a favorite Brown setting, please share!

    Thanks!

Look up Cameron Cooper on YT... He's got some great demos and many feature VH riffs & tones. Both main eras.

    He's a wicked player, too!

Cool man, love this amp. So I have two settings I use, I actually prefer the second one more, it's more the modern Sam-era tone.

    CVH Brown
    Amp: Brown 1
    Gain: 5.9
    Master: 10
    Bass: 4.1
    Middle: 7.2
    Treble: 7.1
    Cabinet: Vintage 4 x 12
    Reverb: Plate

    Sam-Era VH
    Amp: Brown 1
    Gain: 7.4
    Master: 10
    Bass: 3.5
    Middle: 3.0
    Treble 5.8
    Cabinet: Vintage 4 x 12

    Chorus
    Speed: 2.7
    Depth: 5.4
    Mix: 2.6

    Reverb: Plate

Do it! Find his user page, then type in the Yamaha amp model/name. There's close-ups on his settings in at least one of the video demos.

Also, scroll through his other clips. Very cool & inspiring! He's half my age and twice the player I ever was... Ahhh, kids these days! Haha .

You can dial the settings in even better using the Yamaha THR Editor and they do have some different settings in there like a compressor, and different cabinets.

I'll have to check that out. I didn't realize there is an editor.

I have an amplifi and a little marshall carbon fibre thing. Still haven't used the line6 (too much effort). This Yamaha looks more to the point.

I swear by the amp, and enjoy it more than my 100 watt! I never review a product until I own it and have it for some time.

Here is my review of it I did for EVH Gear.

2 things, that is a sweet mustache.

And at high volumes and gain does it break up? I've heard that somewhere.
