    No "Purple Rain", by Prince?
"There's too many people on this basketball that's floating around the sun, who are too afraid to allow themselves to FEEL" - Edward Van Halen
"Van Halen was never about the singer..." - a very wise fan.
"Embrace the past. Live in the moment but keep your eyes on the future, and keep on moving forward..." - Richie Sambora

That seems pretty obvious, though I don't know I could argue with any of the songs on the list (maybe the Grateful Dead song, but it would only be because I don't know it because I don't particularly care for them)

One song that would probably only be on my list would be "I Can't Stop The Rain" by Peter Criss
Then there's "I Wish It Would Rain Down" by Phil Collins
    "Kentucky Rain" by ELVIS
"Shadows In The Rain" by the Police
"Louisiana Rain" by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
    "It's Raining Again" by Supertramp
"Praying For Rain" by Don Henley
    "Red Rain" by Peter Gabriel

Then in the "songs not about rain" category:

"Could This Be Magic?" By Van Halen
"Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey" by Paul & Linda McCartney

"I Wish it Would Rain Down", by Phil Collins & Eric Clapton is one of my favorite tunes.

Three more in the "how could I forget" category:

"Rainy Day People" - Gordon Lightfoot
    "November Rain" - Guns 'n F'n Roses
"Sure Got Cold After The Rain Fell" - ZZ Top

And throw "Rainy Days And Monday's" by the Carpenters in, too!

Definitely agree with the Who being number one on this list.

Rain When I Die by Alice In Chains needs to be there, though.

I would have "Rain Song" by Led Zeppelin at #2, right after "Love Reign O'er Me" by The Who.

Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

Here comes the rain again by Eurthymics.

Great vocal & great synth/sequencing by Dave Stewart.
I remember being in awe of that song, when i first heard/saw it on MTV.

I really need to get some Eurhymics in my collection - especially that song!

Annie really had a phenomenal voice.
There were no Beyonce acrobatics, just pure tone.
