Default Paul Stanley Discovered Van Halen Before Gene Simmons

And Gene secretly went behind Paul's back to work with the band.

    At the 9:50 mark.

It's official. Sammy has lost the STFU status and passed the torch to Paul.

    Congrats Sammy on being released.

    Let's all practice real quick.

    Paul needs to STFU.
    Paul Stanley should seriously STFU.
Why can't Paul be a class act like Mikey and STFU?
    STFU Paul.
Knock Knock? Who's there? Paul Stanley. Oh really? STFU and get off my porch.
Paul: " Ya know, it was me that disco..." VH FAN: " STFU Paul Stanley".

Paul Stanley says he was impressed with VH on the first night and made Gene go with him the second night.

Except, The Boyz played Gazzari's when both Paul and Gene went to see them and VH was not there. They were at The Golden West Ballroom. They asked The Boyz when the next time they could see them play, so they could bring the record company along, and The Boyz said it was at Starwood. That's when VH was there.

    Thanks for playing, Paul.

The biggest tragedy in the entire history of Van Halen is NOT the following:

    - Dave leaving Van Halen in 1985
    - Eddie wearing pink parachute pants on purpose
    - Eddie drinking himself into oblivion
    - VH3 and Cherone
    - 2004 Tour

The biggest tragedy in the history of Van Halen is that they actually crossed paths with anyone that was a member of KISS. That any member of KISS could even "hipster-claim" for a second that they had anything to do with Van Halen in the early days. I would rather eat shit than listen to KISS. Reading through that part of history of VH in Van Halen Rising gave me the same feeling I got when Roy Hobbs was invited up to Harriet's hotel room in Chicago and then shot. Gene Simmons could have killed Van Halen forever.

Thank god he couldn't put VH into a KISS coffin.

My prayer everyday: fuck KISS in the ass, no reach around, without lube by Clydesdale for eternity.

Funny, Paul was the loudest person in the room calling Ace & Peter liars when his books contain two big whoppers.

Paul's written account of seeing VH first, and then bringing Gene along the next night, is printed in the first Zloz book.
I was flipping through it last night. Pardon the pun

Interesting. Seems history is a little fuzzy on that.

Gene read the book before release and pretty much gave it the green light. I believe Pauls version. There has plenty of time for Gene to say differently.
