Thumbs up Tom Cruise is teasing the heck out of us about 'Top Gun 2'

Is Maverick coming back? Well we think so. Probably. Right?

Top Gun 2 has been teased (and teased) to fans over the past few years. And now it's being teased again. But this time, THIS TIME, it seems like it might actually be happening.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer (who produced the original along with some movies about pirates in the Caribbean that you may have seen) shared this photo of him and Maverick himself, Tom Cruise, "discussing" Top Gun 2.

So, guys, what does "discussing" mean? Working on the script? Negotiating salary? Designing costumes? INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW.

I guess we'll just have to keep waiting for more Twitter photos to find out.

PSA: If you two guys feel the need, the need for speed on this one, we wouldn't mind at all.

Val Kilmer has been teasing his return as well, but dang, Kilmers health seems bad these days.

This is one of those things that in retrospect was cheesy....lotsa fun, but cheesy....I hope they get it right

on the other hand there is word that they are going to make a theatrical version of Little House on the Prairie

    please don't

I finally saw a bit of Top Gun, the other night for the first time.

Needless to say, I threw a shoe at the television. I'll pass on this "classic".

I've never seen it either. Didn't look like it would appeal to me. Those who loved it, bless 'em. I hope this one hits the spot for them too.

Check this one out if you haven't already. I'm not a fan of Cruise either but this is by far, his best performance imo.

The first one was a lame movie and so I can't get excited at the possibility of another one.

Cruise is underrated b/c of the Scientology shit... I honestly could care less about that stuff. This said, some of his recent movies are tragically underrated b/c of this... Live / Die / Repeat (or whatever it was originally called) is a great example of this

That fucking movie has an identity crisis.

I enjoyed the one where the cops busted you for crimes you were going to commit but hadn't even thought of yet. I think that's the last Cruise film I saw.

Yeah, that was fantastic. Too bad von Stauffenburg wasn't successful.
The only genre I really know is Van Halen.

Yep, that was a good one, and so was the Michael Mann directed one he was in, Collateral. Probably the only two Cruise movies I really like.

Lol, my Mum is still pissed he played Jack Reacher, a character described as being 6'6" in the books. Cruise comes up just a bit short on that I'd say.

I thought Minority Report was sort of bland the last time I watched it. I don't know... It just doesn't leave a strong impression on me.
