Was it a year or two ago that some go that Fresno footage was greatly touched up touched then taken down? The only know footage of the dragon guitar and star guitar before to got its black stripes. With Ed using those guitars for the show can`t say a photo from the gig has ever surfaced of him at least

I saw that the other day on YT. I think the poster's "name" is Vintage Van Halen?
Pretty cool stuff! YNG and FYLT..., back then? Awesome.

Lighting is dark, but the audio is pretty good. Of course, VH kill it from a performance perspective. I'd like to see more from this concert!!!

"Van Halen was never about the singer..." - a very wise fan.

I used to have the entire opening night in Fresno on cassette that I bought from Eruption Video. One of my all time favorite bootlegs...until the tape deck in my first truck ate it.

I have this cd that Coulda posted here, but was dismayed when I got it in the mail and it was only about half the concert. Damn! I hope to someday find this whole show again.

93 was a very very good VH tour, but sorry lol, the energy level and intensity doesn't even compare to what VH was bringing night in and night out on the early tours.

But I'm sure 1way would find a way to tell everyone that 2004 was better than the Dave era tours too

The bass player and singer were better in 2004, but the guitar player sucked balls. Vic Johnson would have been a better choice. The drummer has been the same since birth.

The energy level is nowhere near the same. And it shouldn't be, they were all fourteen years older.

I saw the '93 show, not even my favorite Mach II tour. Nice tour, but it didn't come close to touching the 5150 tour. Not even close. And how 5150, Summer Nights and Best of Both Worlds all don't make it into a Mach II setlist, I will never know. Three Sammy solo songs in one set? WTF were they thinking?

And a bleeping Neil Young cover over any of the songs I listed? Please. If they ever do reunite with Sam, even though Wolf won't be in the band, let him pick the set list. They lost their set picking minds for a while.
