Default Is this Holy Grail Baretta real or a fugazi?

I have my doubts. But even if it's real, it's an insane price. When I was a kid, my guitar teacher bought one of the very first ones when Dennis Berardi brought it to the store where he taught to pitch it. It wasn't for sale, but he begged and they let him have it for $500. I played that guitar all the time, so I have a lot of hands-on hours with one of the very first ones. Anyway, this black one seems suspect to me. I've never seen a black one before. I don't see a screw hole in the back of the headstock where the allen wrench holder goes. The neck joint, if there is one, looks very faint and, well, it just looks too new for a 30+ yr. old guitar, even if it lived in its case the whole time.

It's fake. Decal isn't right to me. And the trem block is from a later guitar with the trem stop.

And it's way to damn expensive for what it is.

It may be real made from parts around 1989 but it isn't factory from 1983.

Looks like a fake to me. Neck and logo don't look right.
