Default No more arguing about the singer

Maybe this will put an end to the incessant arguing and bickering about which singer is better...

    http://www.vhnd.com/2015/11/20/van-h...d-them-before/

Ah, probably not, but now if you don't like Dave, you don't have to hear him! Tired of Sam? He won't be there either!

Will we get any Gary era stuff?
The only genre I really know is Van Halen.

Nah...it's about who influenced Eddie now!

Nice audio of Eddie jamming like Alvin Lee.

Is this a Van Halen approved release? I didn't think so at first since they had Mike's name on there. I would just assume Wolf or Ed would just redo the bass parts themselves if this was some sort of Ed approved thing. Should be interesting, I wold guess Amsterdam and Humans Being will be quick up first since Ed hated the lyrics.

Well, it will be interesting to finally hear what the Van Hagar era sounded like without the screeching overlaying it.

Doubt Ed hated the Humans Being lyrics, considering he wrote them. He hated Sammy's original tornado concept that he was told not to do, so Ed and Glen Ballard rewrote the lyrics for it.

Sammy's lyrical inspiration for this song?

Very cool! Big Fat Money was the teaser track for this new series? Interesting... It actually kicks a fair bit of ass as an instrumental track. Neat to hear some of Eddie's guitar fills that were slightly buried in the mix.

Is it going to be one week of Dave (and how many songs?) and one week of Sammy (and how many songs?), or a mix of both?

And to answer the OP's question - I hope we DO get some Gary material as well.
There was a lot of creative music on III, IMO. I'd like to hear the instrumental tracks for a few of those songs.

I'm VERY keen on hearing any tracks from 5150.

I absolutely LOVE tracks with no vocals. Especially VH.

    So much goodness that's buried.
