    Default New pedal board

Saw that holeyboard on eBay and I decided to make my own and stripe it, just bored I guess.

    Looks cool!
Seen those boards on eBay, and almost went for it. Nice job on yours.

Yeah. Necessity really was the mother of invention on this one. But I could swear some how I got the idea from Brett or someone.

    1. Now THAT looks pretty cool!

    2. I really want to check into those Holeyboards, but I think I'd lean toward one of the two-tiered models, or maybe even try to make one on my own (if I could ever find the time). I'm kinda getting tired of using two smaller boards, an "input" board and a "loop" board. And I change out my pedals often enough that I'm kinda getting tired of the whole velcro thing.

    3. However, I don't think there is any way I could gig with a striped pedal board. Hell, I already feel WAY too self conscious with my EVH Phase 90 and Flanger on my board, as well as my 3 gigging EBMM-style guitars, each with their own EVH guitar strap. Oh yeah, and every now and then I'll wear my EVH chucks if the weather is right.

Yep, a red/white/black striped pedal board would just be WAY over the top for me.

...and the kicker of it all is that the cover band that I've been in for almost 8 years (current incarnation...and best...is going on 4 years) has NEVER even entertained the though of doing any VH covers...until this last month. My drummer got a little 8-pad trigger/sampler for his birthday and now wants to have HFT worked up by the first of the year...

Lucky. I tried to get my band to do Dance the Night Away about a year ago but no one can sing it. (Yep...it's hard to sing for those who think Dave couldn't sing)

Wondering what you mean by "self conscious"? I striped up the case for my wireless unit (black and white version) but kinda get self conscious about it for fear that someone will expect me to sound like Eddie. ...And I don't...AT ALL.

    Default New pedal board

I gig with all my VH pedals, I've used all my VH guitars at one point over the years, my amp is a 5150, and I'll wear a VH shirt many times. I don't give a shit what people think. You guys worry too much. . Enjoy yourself and do what you want.

Cool. Looks like my pedal board but mine is home made. I was cleaning out my garage a few years back and had two pieces of wood that I was going to scrap. I chucked one off to the side and then the other...which landed on the first piece exactly like they were made for each other and I thought hey screw it and glue it and I have a pedal board. The fit was perfect and at a perfect angle to the floor for a pedal board. Kind of hard to explain until you see these two pieces of wood together, it was destiny. Afterwards I decided to stripe it up, rwb.

I always attribute using his stuff because it's good. Most of my stuff is EVH too. I'm not ashamed. Shows I have good taste and let's people see how awesome the products are.

He got me playing guitar and changed my life. If I can be a small billboard to get the word out I can live with that. Unless the shit sucks.

    It doesn't.

Your pedal board looks great. Good thing you dont have the striped Phase 90 though...
