Looking forward to "The Conjuring" sequel, as I'm a horror buff.
Also hearing rumblings about new installments for the Halloween and Friday the 13th franchises."There's too many people on this basketball that's floating around the sun, who are too afraid to allow themselves to FEEL" - Edward Van Halen

"Make way for the bad guy"- Tony Montana
'This hamburger don't need no helper"- David Lee Roth
"I wish Bon Jovi would've given me a call before he recorded all of his hits, because the lyrics would've been smarter, the melodies would've been much more smashing, and they would've sold a lot fewer records." -David Lee Roth
"My beef is people thinking Bon Jovi is good cuz they sold lots of records to housewives." -tango
"But being number one doesn’t really mean jack fuck all. We sold twice as many records as other records that year (1984) that landed in the Number One position." ~Eddie Van Halen

I liked the Conjuring until the ending.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.
Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"
David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

I never saw Olympus Has Fallen. For those that have, what did you think? I think the trailer for London Has Fallen looks pretty good.

I think I avoided it because of the actors involved, but I can't remember who they were.

Trailer does look good (despite Gerard Butler) but I'm really irked by the 'America comes to the rescue' angle again. It's one thing to save the world, or prevent an imminent attack on a foreign nation, but the trailer gives the impression that the Americans just rock up and say 'right, move over, we're here now. We'll sort it. Try to stay out of our way' and save a London that is helpless, clueless and useless.
Massive horror fan too but I was so disappointed by The Conjuring. The trailers were really creepy and I was expecting a fright fest but it was lame, insipid, not scary (just cheap jump scares) and, worst of all, cliched to hell. I can imagine those who haven't seen the horror classic of the 70s/80s enjoying it as it would all be new but to those of us who have, it's all 'seen-it-before-and-seen-it-done-better'. Most notably the 'fight it! I love you, feel my love and fight the evil' shtick the husband says to his possessed wife in the finale.
Halloween was killed by Rob Zombie IMO who ignored everything that made the original so great but I am hopeful that they can ressurect F13. The last rebboot stank but Jason vs Freddy was very good. Best F13 for me was part IV. Ted White played a phenomenal Jason and you actually cared for the other cast members (whilst those in the remake were both annoying, one-dimensional and forgettable).Last edited by BlofeldsCat; 01.21.16 at 05:29 AM.
