Eddie's tone had so much saturation and sustain yet was so clean, clear and articulate. Damn.

Haven't seen that in a while. Is he playing the "1984" guitar there?

I can't relate as I was not yet into VH. I also regret saying that I was probably too busy listening to Kiss’ Animalize in 1986 to notice the much superior band that is VH.

I think that video is from the Detroit shows they did, I used to have a video bootleg of one of them and it looks like what I remember.

it's not the 1984 Kramer from what I remember but it's not the 5150 Kramer either casue he needed that bass string on it, I used to have a poster of Ed playing that guitar, I think it was very similar to the 5150 Kramer BUT I could be totally wrong as I haven't seen it in along time and youtube is down at work right now.

No need to regret it. Kiss is a great band, I was listening to all kinds of hard rock back then. Crue, Kiss, VH, Tesla, Aerosmith pretty much all of it.

I'm just glad I got to see ALL of the Hagar era tours (and then one ADKOT show) The 5150 tour is still one of my favorite shows of all time they were tight as hell and still fun and loose (if that makes sense) effortless magic and genuine camaraderie on stage. It didn't last long but it was great when it did.

Yeah, i discovered it a few minutes later. Was too hot for it to find out the audio is different from audio version from LWAN show. So is there "Good enough" footage from lwan show out there? I only managed to find one more isolated video - this time it says it is from des moines. Bummer. And why does the stuff cut out of LWAN was not included on dvd reissue from 2004 (as bonus tracks for example) ????

    Good enough Des Moines video

there are-to my knowledge 4 tunes that have audio from the LWAN recording but no video to go along with it. they are:

    Good Enough
    Wild Thing
Addicted to Love (only about a minute and a half)
and an alternate version of Rock and Roll with a second short guitar solo by Sammy

video for ATL was shown when the MTV awards aired some of the VH show so someone should be able to find that...the rest, I have never seen
