Default Charlotte, NC Sept 11th ROLL CALL

Got my tix today. 10th row Ed's side taking my 22 year-old daughter. My brother, Dave, who I've mentioned before here on VHLinks, has ALS but s also going. Here's a post I made in 2012 to give you a refresher on our situation:

    http://www.vhlinks.com/vbforums/thre...-Special-Night

Look for Dave and look for me. Life throws us curveballs but we hit them out of the park. It's what we do.
We train dogs for cattle and sheep herding. They're very different. Sheep are a lot like supermodels - they bunch together, they rattle very easily. Cattle are like drunks at a hockey game - two will want to fight: "Who are you and what's with your badge?"

Two of them will be like: "Leave them alone, let's go see the game." Another one is lost: "Where'd you guys go?" The dog has to deal with all of that. You work them off a whistle. It's the original video game.

Van Halen reminded us last night of why we loved them in the first place. They helped us to get past all the bullshit around us and remind us to have a little fucking fun in the midst of it all. - Reckless Fable

I'm heading down as well. I missed the 2012 tour so I am more than stoked for this tour. Trying to not think too much about it and hoping nothing happens between now and next Friday.

If it's an e ticket you could really wait until right before the show, buy it and just show them the ticket on your smartphone. Don't know if they have a cutoff time or not.

I know the feeling well. Such a cool experience to share with your daughter.

Are you planning on buying her a shirt? She'll be the coolest kid in school the next day.

Well, you go a better deal than me but I couldn't stand it and decided to buy them last week instead of wait. I've got 12 rows back Sec 1 and did the $170 ea. price. $400 total after fees.

Does anyone remember Whoopi Goldberg introducing the band at the Charlotte show in 1995 (Balance tour)?
