    Default 2nd leg of tour

Anyone got any insight or thoughts as to when and if they might do another leg of this tour?

    Maybe indoor arenas?

    Maybe Europe (I doubt)

    We're all hoping they do!
Another leg would be awesome. Please pass through Toronto again!!! It would be great if the overseas fans could party with VH as well.

    Fingers crossed...

Not happening. Wolfie has plans for solo project, etc. Band has done well with this tour despite the shaky tv appearances, the so-so live record, and Eddie's interview. I think the future of VH is directly tied to the Wolfie/Eddie relationship. We may be at the point where Wolfie wants to go out on his own and begin establishing himself. You would think that Eddie would be supportive. I think VH has played out this version of the band. The only play left is to work something out with Michael Anthony and do a farewell tour. It seems that Michael Anthony has always left the door open to this possibility- it will be up to Eddie to make it work (this is the long shot but we can keep our fingers crossed).

A farewell tour with Mikey would be awesome, but I don't see it. My guess is that the curtains fall after the Hollywood Bowl shows. That's why we all should - if we can and they're close - go see them now. Sadly, I think last night was the final time I'll see them live. That's 37 years...most of my adult life...following these guys!

My "realistic" dream scenario, since I don't think Sammy will ever be back or there will ever be a Sammy + Dave co-headliner with the Van Halens.

But I think this is plausible:
Opening Band -- Alter Bridge / Mark Tremonti or whatever band Wolf is playing in.
Main Band -- The original 4 Horsemen of Dave, Ed, Alex, and Mikey.

The last studio album and the first live release w/Dave, were the ideal reasons for VH to do a farewell tour and/or unite the fan base.
I don't see Mike returning (he isn't IMO) as being a huge event like solving world hunger etc. It's simply not that important to the vast majority of ticket buyers.

I don't think it's the last tour, or that we've seen the last music from these guys. I guess I'm an eternal optimist, but as long as they're healthy, I haven't gotten the feeling at all that this is the last tour. But Wolf will probably do some playing for his solo album, possibly with some appearances by his Pop and Uncle. But I can see VH back touring in 2017, but really, who knows?

I do think it's a pretty sure thing that neither Sam or Mike will ever be back. That pisses a lot of people off, but I'm perfectly fine with it.

    I'm always hopeful.

As much as a lot of us old timers want to see it, I don't think Edward shares that sentiment. Dave, I wonder....he lived this thing from jump street. He knows. When they do finally hang it up, I wonder how he will honestly feel about it not happening.

I think Greg's book is going to make me want to see it even more.

No second leg of this tour. Sure Wolf will pursue solo work, but since VH moves in "Bond years" he has plenty of time between tours for his solo work. Wolf will never make the kind of money as a solo artist as he is with VH. 3 years from now, they will do one more tour and hopefully release a new cd.

VH is pretty much on the second leg now. The two Jones beach shows were the end of the 1st leg. It would be cool for fans if VH extended the tour. However, I think the Hollywood Bowl show will signal the end of the tour in early October.

    VH Wahoo approves this message...

As well as they are all playing and getting along right now, it would be a damn shame if this was the end. I could see another CD and tour maybe in 2017 or 2018, but beyond that...who knows?

I don't think Sam would come back without Michael anyways. I'm not sure where I'd place the odds on Michael coming back before Sam or the other way around. Dave wants Michael back, but doesn't care for any of the Sam stuff.

I would love to hear what Ed plays behind closed doors.

In my opinion, they will not have closed out their career properly until they do one final tour with Mike. If Ed cannot drop the bullshit grudge he seems to have against Mike (for what fucking reason is anyone's guess!) then he will piss off all of us first generation fans for all of eternity. We've allowed him to get his selfish, nepotistic ways of including Wolfgang in the band. Now it's time for him to come to his senses and do the right thing. Wolfgang has security now and needs to move on with his musical career in some other capacity. Cut the umbilical cord Ed. Three tours, surely he's satisfied by now! Wolf has done a fine job stepping in, I will say, but go forth young man and make your own way now.

As far as a new album, just don't see it at all. No incentive to do it or any money to be made from doing so. Ed has all but said that already. ADKOT must have been like pulling teeth for them last time around.
