Yeah, there's no way I would've gotten my grandfather to go to a Van Halen concert and he was a music professor and jazz pianist for his whole life. I think he would have actually liked Eddie's playing if he could have gotten past the volume and long hair.

Went to a '95 show with my dad on my 20th birthday. That was cool. He turns 70 this year and had me call him from Red Rocks the other night so he could hear some of it over the phone.

Anyway, I thought that pic was awesome! Three generations ready to rock out with an evening of Van Halen. Doesn't get any better than that!
I don't always listen to hard rock, but when I do, I prefer Van Halen. Stay Frosty my friends.

Sounds like Dave is back to being talkative again, which is probably a good thing. I'm thinking he was a little sick or worn out in Chicago so he played it safe by not talking.

EWS. Loving the jungle vibe they're getting in the intro of these shows.

Agreed. Or sound issues in Chicago venue. Heard couple fans say this

Sounds like you guys are getting to see a really good show. Dave sounds great to me. Don't know who kevin robinson is but he's got part 2 up on his twitter now.

    https://twitter.com/robinsonradio

He doesn't sound too thrilled at the end saying only 8 thousand people and weak set list. 5 days and counting for me. Can't wait.

Just watching the periscope video feed from (Kevin Robinson) and he is saying that the show didn't sell very well...only 8,000 tickets and the set list was weak according to him. I will say that Dave sounds like the normal guy from earlier shows...he must have been tired in the Chicago show from the tour or partying...what ever though. I'll be seeing them this Thursday...can't wait !!

There is a better feed from (Misnomer) on periscope, they sound great to me.

Yeah i don't know. Typical critic. At least we get to hear his voice. Dave sounds much better. I'm blown away actually. I was like wtf when he started saying that stuff. That's what i mean about people ruining it for everyone else. What a debbie downer. Enjoy the show!

There were so many negative comments on the periscope, saying how bad they sound, and "Dave just wants to dance, bring back Sammy" one comment said that Sammy was Van Halen, seriously people if you don't like it dont watch. I thought they sounded pretty good
