It sounded like a good performance of that one by Dave. DDL sounded great too.

    Long time lurker, rare poster.

    My review of Tinley Park:

KWS was really good, especially his Voo Doo Child.

I'll give the VH show an 8. I had a great 103 row J, right in front of the stage. You could really feel Alex's bass drum through your whole body.

Excellent set list. I've waited 40 years to hear LUTS (my favorite on I I), DDL and Dirty Movies. I like INASR, but there's lots of other deep tracks I would easily swap with it.

I really wanted to give Dave a cough drop. He was straining to get the notes out. Im realistic about what he's capable of. But, I don't think this was his best compared to the previous shows this tour. I hope he's not losing it, but I wouldn't be surprised if he does. However, his ICM intro was excellent. And I liked the $60K Chilly Dog story.

Al's solo was great. Wolfy is coming into his own. He's really evolved since 2007.

I'm a total Ed Head, so I love any chance to see/hear the king.

I don't think the sound in Tinley is very good. I go to my fair share of shows there, and I'm alway disappointed.

Just got back from the show with my son (13). What an awesome show! The best one I have seen out of the 2007/2008/2012/2015 tours. I'll try to give a breakdown of my experience.

We got to the venue during KWS's set. The parking was a mess. It was free, but very disorganized. It would turn into a nightmare later on after the show. There weren't enough markings in the lot and people forgot where they parked. Anyhow, once in, I bought my son a shirt. That made him very happy. He went to the last tour with me as well and still has the classic album cover shirt. I didn't even care that it cost $40.

We walked around a bit. They were offering seat upgrades for $10. However, they were only for a particular section and worse than what I had, but a nice option for lawn ticket holders. We sat and watched KWS for a few tunes. He was pretty good.

Once VH took the stage it was pure meltdown. I love LUTS and to see it played live with my son next to me gave me goose bumps. It was an awesome rendition. The band sounds unbelievable! Any imperfections were swallowed up by the crowd's energy and participation. These men, minus Wolf, are 60 years old people!!! They should get an award for having the energy to perform a 2 hour set every other night at such high level.

There were some empty seats, but there was a solid number of people there . According to Wiki, the place holds 28000. It's inevitable to have some open seats. The crowd was energetic and into the show. There were a few idiots drinking too much , but par for the course. One dude was there with his teen daughter and got drunk with her. That was kind of weird, but to each his own.

The set was the same as it has been, which is awesome. I had several goose bump moments. EWS was one of them. What an awesome live song! My son and I screamed our heads off. We face timed my wife for a few songs and just had a blast.

Every one gave an awesome performance. I enjoyed Dave's stories. Especially the one about the $60000 chilly dog. Ed's the best I have seen him. Al was unreal and wolf keeps it together. Dave is at least as good as 07. One concern I have is he is constantly clearing his nose/throat. I hope his ok. Almost seems like sinus issues. He's been doing it at all the shows.

I am glad I went with my son. It was another bonding experience we will not forget. To watch my favorite band perform some of the best Rock music ever written at this point in my life is a dream.

Getting out of the lot was a nightmare, but we got home safe. Thank you VH for an awesome experience.

    What are your major influences?
