    Default VIP ?

Now we are a few dates in to the tour, has anyone done the VIP experience. It would be good to get a full review!

I have VIP for August 1st, may even have an extra ticket in Boston. If no review is done by then, I'll write one

I did it in San Bernardino and, somehow, regret not having done it in Irvine 3 days later.

Livenation staff was amazing. They didn't required the credit card, only ID. I'd bring the card or a copy just in case they ask, but your name will be on a list, as long YOU receive the email from OTLpresents.com, you'll be fine.

As I was in a trip from Brasil, I wanted to be sure I'd score pretty good tickets for at least one show. The seats are amazing and that's what I paid for.

The soundcheck is great but you don't get to interact with the band. You have to be very early on the venue not to miss it, the band starts @ 4:30PM sharp!

No meet-and-greet is a bummer, they should have 1/2 hour of hand shakes and signing memorabilia, but it's VHland.

The free line merchandise it's a huge advantage once the two gigs I attended were packed with ginormous lines, it would be a real pain to try shirts and decided about your items with a rowdy crowd behind you.

I enjoyed every second. I'd repeat it in a future tour.

Let me know what else you want to know.

thanks - sounds great. The questions I had
    - how long does the soundcheck last
    - can you use cameras (I guess not)...
-how many people were at the one you attended
    - is the "special" merchandise worth having?

    thanks

How close are you for soundcheck? On the 2012 tour I think they had people way far back, but I think I saw a pic Valerie tweeted of people up at the front row for soundcheck.

In 04 we did soundcheck/VIP. I yelled out and talked to Ed a little. Did the band talk to you/vice versa?

This sounds awesome, when I got the VIP I thought it was just merch and great seats, had no idea it included the sound check or crowd free shopping, pumped now

25/30 people? I had assumed that all of the first 15 rows would have been "special packages seats" . Sounds much more exclusive than I had thought!
