Default Final piece of the puzzle

Just ordered a Musikraft neck for the project guitar. It's the Franky neck in rock maple, start neck heel, 22 frets, tusq nut, neck adjustment at headstock, and an EBMM back carve. The rest of the neck is the standard Franky neck options. It will join the Frankenstein pickup, and the Bladerunner trem on my black Strat body.

    Looking forward to the swap.

Well, here it is. Neck feels great. I was surprised how much the neck changed the tone of the guitar, in a good way. Seems like it is getting more overtones in the middle of the neck. Probably due to this neck being unfinished, where the MightyMite neck had the satin finish on it. Anyway, the guitar is now complete.

    ^^Nice!
I had the same findings when I threw a Roadworn neck on a Strat- really opened her up.

Congrats on the neck. Glad it's a better fit for your guitar!
I'm still planning on my Sambora replica/tribute build. Having Ed's EBMM neck carve seems like a great option!
Questions; do Musikraft offer different scale lengths (like Warmoth does) for their necks? Do they offer any custom inlay work on their necks (Sambora style pearloid stars)?

    Thanks.
They do, but I don't know how custom they get. If you look at my above post with the features of the neck, each of the features was selectable from a menu. I started out with the Frankie neck, added a fret, changed the position of the neck adjustment, put a regular nut on it, and gave it a rounded neck heel for a strat. I was also able to select whether I wanted birdseye, flame, or rock maple or any of them quartersawn. You get to select your finish and inlays, but I don't know if stars is an option on any of the necks.

Thanks for the reply. I'm sure I've browsed their website before, just casually. I'll check them out again. Just thought I'd ask a member here who had recently dealt with them.
    Cheers
