    Default Ticket Drop Alerts

I figure everyone can use this thread to point out last minute price drops or prime seats becoming available for upcoming shows...

In this case, the July 5th show, there's currently 3rd row seats available as of 9:30pm Thurs 7/2 at the $150 price range. For the July 7th show, you can get as close as 7th row, same price. The Devore show (which seems to be selling especially poorly) has a *ton* of great seats available from about 10 or so rows going back all now at the $150 price range. Also, the Orchestra level at Irvine has all dropped to the $150 price although good seats are very scattered and none currently available in the center section (2).

Lower level tickets opened up today for Red Rocks. Unfortunately, AXS says the venue doesn't allow upgrades. Now I've gotta decide if I want to buy another ticket and hope to unload my current ticket.

I didn't think about it very long. It's probably a good thing. Now it says there isn't anything on that side. Still availability down low on Wolfgang's side.

I went from row 41 to row 7 on Ed's side. Woohoo!

So far for all shows, the pattern seems to be starting around a week prior to show dates, tickets start popping up in the lower orchestra sections and more and more pairs and scattered increasingly better seats get added at random times until the last 48 - 24 hours when you'll see first 5 rows and pit tickets showing up. A lot of this is due to people who originally bought the best tickets to resell at drastically higher prices through TM's own bullshit "Fan-To Fan" resell feature who find they can't sell their tickets and panic the last couple days and release their tickets back into the system to avoid getting stuck with the tickets. Also look for price drops - for Devore, the back half of the Orchestra section went from $150 to $90 the last day before the show. It's like folding when you know you don't have a good hand in poker.

Irvine looks a bit dicey as there has only so far been complete rows of the back third of the Orchestra section being thrown back into the system for sale the last day, but I expect (rather hope!) the prime first few Orchestra seats and pit seats show up by tomorrow morning.

I have two lawn tickets for Toronto and I'm wondering when I should upgrade. There are still plenty of VIP area seats available. Should I wait for the day of the show? It almost sounds like the best option, but I know they have a strong following in Toronto so there might not be any left. I'm also driving in from Rochester, NY after work at 4, so I will probably just make it for the opener. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

If anyone needs a single ticket for the August 1st show Xfinity Center, I've got one for sale. It's Section 2 Row B. I was originally going to go by myself, but a buddy told me he wanted to go, so I've got an extra.

I got my tickets sold but at a loss. I never dreamed I would have such a hard time selling tickets to see Van Halen.

T.B., how'd you score those 4th row tix to Irvine, if you don't mind me asking? Were you hanging around the box office on the day of the show or something?

I'm trying to develop a plan of attack for when they come to Jersey next month.

Wondering if anyone knows of someone who's scored prime seats, say within the first 15 rows, off of Live Nation or Ticketmaster in the days leading up to their show???

TICKET DROP HERSHEY 8/23. From me! I have two pairs 8th row section c FLOOR SEATS. Face Value. Also have a single in row 8 and one in row 10. FACE VALUE incl all ticketmaster fees. So in essence I AM DROPPING the tix for whomever needs. Send a PM and I can send them priority mail after payment via PayPal

Toronto has a ton, I repeat a ton of tickets at face value in Section 102 and elsewhere. Two in the 4th row! Face value is $317 CA including fees. What's the process if the majority of these seats don't sell? Will they bump people up in other sections? This is a sad day when Van Halen has trouble selling in Toronto. Maybe I shouldn't have upgraded to Section 201...
