Default Van Hagar on the THR10x

I tried to get as close as I thought it was. Apologies for the mistakes.

Nicely done. What settings did you use? And what guitar, pickups, etc? I've got a Jackson DK2M with a Dimarzio Super D in the bridge and a PAF Pro in the neck along with an ESP LTD EC-1000 Deluxe with the SD JB/59 combo. I've fiddled a bunch with my THR10X settings and honestly I usually just leave it on the Southern Hi with the gain about 11:00 and the bass/middle/treble dimed. No effects except the delay. That gets me something I can work with playing most 80's metal stuff including VH. But I'd love to know what you're doing to get that tone.

Nice sound! Are you going to upload the patch for your Franky riffs, too?

I really like that tone! Very nice variation of Ed's brown sound with the later albums,

Cool clip, man. Liked how you went from 7th Seal into the CGTSNM chords. Loved how Don't Tell Me sounded, too. Well done

Thanks man! I haven't played those songs in a long time. I almost forgot how cool those riffs are. I'm just not a fan of the wet/dry/wet overwashed harmonized sound he had during those years.

    I hear ya!
It's a different type of Brown sound, yet I can handle it in varying doses. Ed's playing still brought the riffs and songs to life, though.

Ledvedder that sounded awesome man! That little amp is f'ing cool!!! I think that's a great Van Hagar sound!

On a side note: DAMN 'OFFICIAL' GUITAR TAB BOOKS! After 20 years I learned I've been playing Seventh Seal wrong all this time lol! I found that Cameron kid on YouTube... great lesson, but time for me to re-learn!

Default Van Hagar on the THR10x

So here's my take on FUCK era with the THR10X. I've played this much better but whatever you get the point. Probably a little too much gain, but I'm still messing with it.
