    I hope that it works out for ya.

    If not, it'll make a sexy table lamp, kinda like the old leg lamp
    Thanks!
    Yes, they are real inlays. Super happy so far. Frets are mediums.

    I slacked off on this project for a while... Sort of...
    Ordered a white Fender Squire body of eBay, from the Stratosphere. Looked great, and the neck fit nice and snug. Problem was (buyer's remorse) that the holes for trem posts weren't to Floyd Rose spec... Sent it back with no problems - great customer service!

    I did fit the tuning keys to the neck. Very snug and no issues. But I still needed a body! As per part of the thread title, I went with Warmoth. Strat style with Floyd spaced posts, Alpine white, Alder, and gloss finish. Just got a UPS notice that they tried to deliver today while I was at work. I'll go pick it up tomorrow.

    Game on!

    Taking shape...

    Tuners , input jack assembly, and strap buttons installed. Pickups, 5 way switch, and tone pot mounted on the pickguard. Need to drill hole for volme pot, install Floyd studs for the bridge, drill holes for the neck, drill pickguard mounting holes, then have this baby wired up...

    After a couple of months off (lots going on in day to day life...), I did some more putzing around today;

    - drilled hole for the volume pot and installed.
    - hammered in the bridge anchors and trem posts for the Floyd.
    - added Schaller style strap locks.
    - added an Allen key holder and string tree (not pictured) to the headstock.
    - for a bit of EVH style flair, added the uncirculated 1972 Canadian quarter.

    The neck came without holes. Need to get my Luther to drill them and join the neck to the body, and wire up the electronics. Then, DONE!!! Maybe one day this week after work, weather dependent.
