Default EVH's personal wolfgang neck sold on Ebay serial #44

I purchased one of the necks from the 5150 studio Eddie put on Ebay a few weeks ago. Completely worth it..
It is #44 and came with a prototype case as well, the guitar shape is a little off.
The neck came with ivory tuning pegs, and had some black paint on the heel so I assumed it was one of his black ones..
First I tried it out on a stealth special body and it was a no-go..
Last week I bought a 96' pre-registration logo std. wolfgang on Reverb.com. This neck does not have any of the registration symbols on the headstock either. I took the neck off and it is currently on Ebay.
This is as close to original as I can get the guitar.. I threw on a brass sustain block to top it off..
Plays real smooth, I did not have to adjust anything after bolting the neck on..
Not trying to show off, just dont have anyone else to show it to that would get it.. LOL
Really happy it came with a signed certificate! Bonus..
Also the signature on the back does not say patent pending, and the Peavey logo is not painted, it looks like gold leaf.. and the back of the neck is so worn..the pics just do not show.. kinda has a 60's strat feel on the back.
Also it looks like Ed had this re-fretted with stainless frets recently..

Very cool! Congratulations on getting that one. Love that you've matched it up with a body and are playing it!

Awesome stuff! What size are the frets, Peavey 6105 style or EVH Fender Vintage?

    Congrats!!!

She's a real beauty . Cool that it works now for you , and even cooler that Eddie had it refretted before it was auctioned off .

Nice! My Pat. Pending black Peavey Wolfgang Archtop also has gold leaf Peavey logo. My other two were gold paint. I assume they switched to paint. Cheaper I suppose. I'm very interested about Ed's Peavey necks. I've heard a rumor they were different from what they sold us. My Pat. Pending neck has a much more pronounced rolled edge to it. Giving it a more broken in feel compared to others I've played. And I played a bunch! I've assumed that's the difference in feel. How's your neck shape? Regular Peavey Wolfgang or something a bit different? And thanks for sharing!

Everything was auctioned through technoempire. Apparently they hauled a
Truckload of old gear from the studio..

At the moment, there is only one item up for bid... an Eventide Harmonizer. But they sold a bunch of his old Peavey Wolfgang cases, 3 Peavey necks, some rack gear, and some speaker cabs. -- I picked up two of the Wolfgang cases.

Yeah , I saw the listings for that stuff.
Checked it out due to curiosity . Cool that some of our members got their paws on certain items

If I lived in the US, I would of tried to get some of that stuff, but being here in OZ, postage would been ridiculous. I would of loved to get an old 5150 cab.

Did they sell the motorbike Ed owned? $75k I think they wanted.
