Default So, who has an old muscle car or classic car?

I'm talking about 1972 an older. In 73' cars were authorized to have a heavy impact bumper on the front, and in 74 both bumpers had to be big and clunky, then in 75 the catalytic converter was on all american cars. So for purity's sake, let's go with 1972 and older.

I am looking at a few. I would like a 69 chevelle with a 327 and a manual transmission. I would also like a vw bug or two. I would like to put a cummins diesel in an old 40's car.

I get that a lot, but it runs low 12s and spanks most of what it goes against plus it fits a mustang in the trunk

I'm just playing. It looks nice and very clean. Yes I'm pretty sure my car would fit in the trunk.

It's cool, when you own one of these you get cop car jokes and taxi jokes as well as grandpa jokes. Honestly it's what I love about it, it's the ultimate sleeper. I've had a couple mustangs and with the snow in Boston I had to dump it for, get this, a Lincoln MKX
No matter what happens though, can't seem to even think of dumping the Marauder
And that's the cool thing about cars, it brings people together. I actually own a Marauder forum and we just did our first national meet.
These people bleed for each other, I don't need AAA, just the ability to post and I have help
    Love the car community

I thank you sir for the kind comments about the look, I try to keep her clean and show ready

Nice! As far as Sedans go Id say it's pretty cool. Those wheels are sweet.

I remember the Sable but I don't recall the Marauder. When did they stop producing them?

I never had a muscle car. The closest thing I had was a Chrysler New Yorker. What a beast! I think it was 20 ft long.

It had a 383 small block in it, as well.

Those old cars kill me. I didn't have it long but it was a trip. I parked it at work and about an hour later they were calling me up to the front. I get up there and this guy says his car rolled into my car in the parking lot. The dude was acting really shook up...I didn't get it. I said no big deal, can't be that bad. The Chrysler seen it's better days, as well.

I couldn't believe it. He had a little Toyota truck. It was completely demolished! It rolled 15 ft, parking space to parking space, into the back of my car and it was destroyed. Like it hit a brick wall. Then, I realized why the guy was almost in tears.

My car had a a tiny dent on the bumper and a smudge of red paint.

They only made a little over 11,000 of them in 03 & 04. It's was fords answer to the impala SS, unfortunately Elena Ford took over the Mercury division in 04 and had the idea to make Mercury the women's division of Ford and discontinued it

I'm curious...what do you drive Brett?

    I drive a 2012 Optima Hybrid. I get +1,000km's on a tank of gas - it's awesome.

I can afford a new car.
Sammy did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.
Michael did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.

Q: who was the biggest douche that you have worked with?

A: Eddie Van Halen hands down he threatened all the stage hands that if we wernt all pushed to the side when he got off stage that he would "bash our faces in"

Now the new David-Lee-Roth-Van Halen album, “Tokyo Dome In Concert,” is available for purchase, and it’s super, super, super, super, super, super, crazy bad. - Doug Elfman

Classic muscle cars are a lot more expensive than new cars.
