I really enjoyed the Hardwire Reverb from Digitech with the Lexicon algorithms. I have a TC Electronic Hall of Fame mini now for size reasons, but the Hardwire sounded better.

I'm using a HoF mini with Paul Gilbert's "Oh, That's Nice" tone print, which he created to get close to Ed's early reverb tone.

That's very good to know !!!

I'm selling my MXR Carbon Copy delay locally , and a guy offered me a Digitech Hardwire delay in a straight trade . That line of pedals seems very cool .
I've yet to actually try one out though .

On the same local site , I've been looking at some TC Hall of Fame , Boss RV-3 and RV-5 models ... Thanks for the heads up on the Digitech . It's not a pedal I would've thought of

CalFB - that's a great tone print! I use that one most of the time too. Love the subtle modulation on it.

The Strymon Blue Sky is the best reverb I've heard in a pedal. The Hardwire Supernatural is also excellent...I'm going to get one instead of the Strymon because it sounds great in a small footprint.

Gilbert is one of my favorite players . He's a great teacher too , in addition to his monster chops and wicked sense of humor .
Hard to believe that he once thought he'd "never be able to pick fast" ...

One thing I really dig about Gilbert: he's never ashamed to play other people's riffs and give due credit to his influences. That tone print video with him was fun.

funny I used to go see Paul play in Racer X all the time (1986-1988). He was amazing, blazing fast. But I don't get a lot of true feel and emotion coming from his playing. Not as big a fan these days.
