Yep, that's what I always say! Plaid shorts and dress shoes with no socks. Total rock n' roll!

Watched "Live Without a Net" the other night, and all it did was confirm I feel the same about that era at 44 as I did at 15. Just doesn't get it for me. Don't care for Eddie's all tapping, all the time leads at that point, either.

But hey, whatever. It's music and entertainment. If you like it, fine.

    2015 Panama Kimmel

Not bad in comparison. Dave loses his voice at times. So what. They are getting there. Much better than they were 3 years ago. Dave's biggest issue to me is consistency. He can sound great if you go through and pick the best show. It's just not consistant. Sammy has his moments too though. just not nearly as bad as Roth.

I picked Panama too because it's a good middle ground. He sounds better on Aint Talkin bout Love and Girl you really got me. He sounds terrible on Dance the Night away. Running with the Devil and Panama are in between.

Both high production TV performances. If you disagree prove me wrong. People are too picky. Dave's voice is worn a bit. He sometimes completely loses it and starts screaming. That's exactly what happens. Other nights his voice is fine. He needs to practice voice relaxation techniques and give his voice a break sometimes. I do wonder how it will hold up on tour because a lot of shows his voice quality gets worse as the concert tour gets longer. He should rest it.

    Give Dave a break he's 60.

    Hot for Teacher

That's 25 YEARS LATER!!! So Dave's voice goes when he tries to sing up higher. Way better than 3 years ago. He hadn't sung live in how long? And Eddie was a wreck? Wolf was a kid? All is well. I can feel it.

Is this supposed to be in comparison to now? If so I don't know why. Yeah, it was great but that was twenty five years ago. They can't be as great as they were twenty five years ago.

Eddie and Alex are great in the new shows! Wolfgang is a good bass player, but no Mike when it comes to vocals. Dave on the other hand just can not sing live anymore. Imo, it is time for DLR to hang it up!

Pride, you are correct. It was 25 years ago. However, at some point the VH boys have to realize that DLR can not sing anymore live. It is almost embarrassing as a VH fan to see the recent live performances.

I think Dave sounds fine. Amazing really that's 25 years later. It's debateable which performance is more impressive. Dave just sounds like he has a cold or something. He just needs a throat lozenge or something.

You think Dave sounds amazing? Amazing? Uh. Wow. Not sure what to say there. He sounds fine but far from amazing.

No I said amazing that's 25 years later. He is getting there. Robert Plant when Zeppelin reunited had vocal issues as well in the 80's. His voice healed though. Dave's issues im saying are not that big a deal. His voice has improved since 3 years ago and are getting better.

Dude his voice sounds exactly the same as 3 years ago. It's not worse but it's certainly not better. Robert Plant needed throat surgery and vocally has about as much in common with DLR as I do. Dave's issues are a huge deal if his voice degenerates further. Absolutely.

WEll the people saying that performance in 91 is perfection and they are terrible now and a complete joke are even more ridiculous because the tape is right there. It's not that big a deal as people are making it out to be.

I have my concerns how his voice will hold up on a full tour. He might need surgery eventually but this is what we get. I'm not a doctor to decide that anyways. Sometimes people can go without surgery and stuff heals on its own or stays the same or whatever.

Nah I enjoyed them. Dave certainly had issues though. Ed's playing made me at least smile.

Dave in 2015 is a far cry from Sammy in 1991. Not sure your point? Shit Dave in 2015 is a far cry from himself eight years ago.
