Default Time to End the Silence

The 2012 VH Interviews felt like parts of something bigger. The Roth Show was smart and funny and made you just want to hang in a bar with Dave and listen to his stories. His interviews with Jay Mohr and Jim Florentine were internet blog/radio gold. Dave was smart and humble at the Dave Grohl b-day show.

Ignoring the negativity, I enjoy Tokyo Dome and even have come to appreciate the higher range on some of the tracks -- the salsa version of DTNA surprises at first, but is now a favorite reinterpretation.

Dave, we miss your smarts and humor. You offer too much to blackout the website.

Someone mentioned it another thread, might have been EC, but I don't think it is just the radio content from CBS, my guess was they went after him for the The Roth Show name, they probably are saying that they have the rights to it, as it is too close to The David Lee Roth Show. That did not end well, there is a lot of bad blood for DLR at CBS, so that would be my guess at this point.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Yes, it is very strange that DLR hasn't said much lately. I wonder if he will once the tour gets closer.

Salsa? That is not Salsa music they're playing.

^^I was going to just assume I was missing something but glad I'm not the only one.

Without Dave being Dave in the media, it does seem like something is missing. It makes the band strangely low-volume and passive from a PR standpoint, which is the opposite of VH in my book.
