    Default Perspective!

Polish my nuts and serve me a milkshake, to quote the great "Stifler".....

The band just gave us tons of new and exciting footage/music.....

They were on national TV twice in the last week and delivered a major positive assault on the ears with some classic tuneage....

Those that are just delivering negativity...go analyze the "flavor of the week" on American Voice or whatever version of reality based, mind numbing audio you choose....

let us enjoy and savor in the fact that, the band in whatever version is upon us, is here and present. They are delivering...they are solid and cohesive. They are currently "current" and alive.

    Remember the days when.....we didn't know...we didn't realize....etc.......

Those days are over.....we now have a solid direction from the band and they are operating as a well-oiled, aging well machine.

So those of you that want to wear a "sour" face please do so with a full heart of love for the band. We realize your passion but realize none of us are who we were 20 summers ago. We have to be "liquid" and keep evolving. The current lineup is a razor sharp and functioning unit...let's revel in that.

    Night...

    Well said, and thanks.

I've enjoyed the week, and I'm digging the new cd.

I'd love it if someone could translate the Japanese DLR is speaking.
I'm sure it'd be worth it.
And what a joy to see and hear EVH looking and playing so well.

    Viva Van Halen
The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.
    -H.S.T

This next part could really confuse things. Let's stay focused. #asis

I'm loving this new not afraid of PR approach they have recently taken, I think Eddie is much more comfortable in his new found sobriety.
I just hope that after October 2nd it not the same old approach at Van-Halen.com and around December 22nd it's not back to just "Happy Holidays and Happy New Year" all over again.
They have a rabid fan base, we don't necessarily have rabies.

    keep it up boys!

I think it's absolutely fantastic people are enjoying it. There's a lot to love about the music backdrop of what VH is right now. I hope you will be as happy for those of us who think that bad vocals taint the whole process. Doesn't make me upset, doesn't make me bitter, and it certainly doesn't make my life miserable. It simply means that I have a pair of ears, and they are telling me that the singer of VH currently sucks a massive amount of balls.

But my opinion shouldn't diminish your enjoyment in the exact way your appreciation shouldn't make the crap vocals of current VH sound better to me. Perfect symmetry!

    Enjoy!

It's been great to be a VH fan this week. Now, if I can get tix to the Hartford show, it will complete the week nicely.

GREAT week in VH history. And, you're right, razor sharp is a good way to describe them. I'm finally listening to Tokyo Dome through the right technology (not my iPhone) and it's awesome. I hate "...avenue..." but DLR replaced that this week and he sounds great on 99% of the live recording!

If you love the band and want more stuff from them you have to show it with your wallet, if you can afford it of course.
