Default Baltimore area people: JiffyLube, VA show... or Hersheypark, PA?

curious which show some of you northern Maryland fans are gonna try for.

i think i'm going for Hershey. JiffyLube sucks for traffic in/out more than most venues. and it's slightly further drive for me than Hershey.

Hershey stadium-style layout is different than the amphitheater/sheds.

looks like $29 tickets in the way back, and midlevel $79 price for close side sections and some $129 (i assume for best/closest side and floor).

anyone have good knowledge or tips/tricks for ticket searching/seating? i hate the idea of just having to take "best available" cuz if you throw them back it'll be sold out before you get another pair!

I live in York, PA. I got tickets for the Hershey show already. Hershey Park stadium is not a traditional amphitheater. I will wait and see on Jiffy because I think scalpers are going to overestimate the market.

My best advice: when buying tickets don't be afraid to throw back seats you don't like. I actually went through 4 cycles once and ended up with 5th row tickets for face at Clapton.

I don't have a cool signature. Deal with it!

happy to report a friend of mine with an AMEX got me a pair for Hershey thru the AMEX presale.

scored the "$49.50" level tix (in quotes cuz all the fees push a pair of "$50" tickets to a total of $145. fucking ridiculous fees are as much as a third ticket!

BUT, i'm in a low row in Section 6.... not bad for the price level.

Section 7 is "$79.99" (actually $105 after fees!) so getting a pair in Sec.6 for a total of $145 is pretty good (vs $210 for a pair one section over).

my experience has been if you start throwing tix back you will waste time and risk getting shut out or worse seats... but i guess it depends on the show.

just glad i'm in and dont have to sweat it Saturday morning.

You grabbed good seats. Six is better than seven because of the way the stage is built, there are angles that block the view of the stage.

    thanks, and hope so!

was only there once, for The Police in 2007, and we were in section 2. that was pretty far back. glad to hear that 7-8 isn't any better. again, especially at that price point.

was hoping to get Sec 27 to be on Ed's side.... but they didn't pop up. hope our side isn't totally washed out with loud bass! i'm guessing Wolf/ED will both be pretty cranked on both sides, it's not like i'm close enough to be getting it off their amp/rigs...

Not sure what is and isn't ok to post but I have two pairs for sale in section C rows 8 and 10. If this is permitted and if anyone is looking, message me. If not, please advise if there is a forum for this.
