I'm listening to that ^^^ on the other thread right now....those guys are brutal in their opinions.

I don't know if "joe average" hard rock fan is gonna feel a whole lot different than what they are saying but I could be 100% wrong.

they're just brutal in their opinions of Dave....I'm more of a Sam fan and I've never been that brutal when I talk about Dave, I usually give the guy a lot of credit....they're just tearing him a new ass.

No need to listen beyond the first minute when these dbags both agree that Steel Panther is just as good as classic Van Halen. What a joke. Very much like when Eddie Trunk stated that he used to argue that Kiss was better than Van Halen.

That alone completely invalidates their opinions on music to me personally.

not to defend them at all cause I don't know a thing about them but that's not really what they were trying to say.

They were saying that Dirty Movies is basically just as dirty as a SP song but without the profanity. I guess Eddie Trunk said he was offended by SP or something and they were saying that he should be offended by DM as well

at least that's how I understood it.

We really need to have this? There's not enough negativity yet?

Obviously the reviews are going to be bad.

Steam is rising from 5150. Buckle up this is going to be a bumpy ride folks.

Those 2 guys brought up something I haven't thought about in a Looooong time.

They mentioned when Dave took over for Howard Stern on CBS radio in 2006. Damn, I don't think we have talked about that at the vhlinks in a long time. It is almost like it never happened. Strange times back then.

Dave made some very strange choices when he wasn't in the band. The radio show, the backyard BBQ, the vegas vaudeville show......

Well, at this point, that is kind of true.

Ralph does do a great 1983 DLR.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

They hit a lot of the points we talk about though. But, I agree with you a little, I mean one of them asked "Alex Van Halen doesn't sing any does he?". :/
