Default Dweezil Zappa has the Rasta/Unchained Circles guitar?

Dweezil Zappa was on the Dean Delray podcast this week and they talk a bit about Eddie. This may be old news but I never knew that Eddie gave Dweezil the Rasta guitar and that same guitar is actually the Unchained Circles guitar (just painted over). According to Dweezil, he was over at Eddie's studio and saw the guitar on the floor in pieces and Eddie asked him if he wanted it. Crazy. Dweezil still has the guitar and he also has a guitar that Hendrix played.

Here is the link to the podcast.

Didn't Wolfgang rip out the original circles guitar a few months ago on instagram?

Dweezil said in this podcast that you can see through the paint job on the rasta on the back of the guitar where it says "Bye See Ya Later."

    Here he is playing it...

It's always been my opinion the Circles did not say bye, later, see ya on the back. It was the EVH Rude. I don't know why they included it on the new Stripe Series Circles guitar. Rasta was the Rude? Maybe. Probably. Maybe I'm wrong. Happens occasionally. Ask my Wife.

Well since they produced the Unchained guitar with Ed's blessing, I'm guessing it was on the back.

The pic Wolfgang posted in Instagram was one of the new Striped Series Circles guitars. The giveaway being that it had the truss rod wheel thing.

Here's a link to Jimi's great info on the Unchained/Rasta guitar from a few years ago...

I was thinking that too .
I'd have to go through some old photos , but I've always thought that it was the 'Unchained' guitar and not the 'Rude' . Of course , I also could be wrong ...

This is the Unchained guitar... the stripes seen here would wrap around to where stripes are on the front...

Also, in the Unchained video, you can see a few quick glimpses of the back where the stripes on the back of the lower horn match the pic above...

As for the Rude, it was seen alive and well just a few years ago in this pic that I'm pretty sure Jimi spotted in a Fender/EVH video...

Scroll down a bit. Says the Rude has the writing on it.

Though in my mind the Guitar Player mag that Bye See Ya pic is from is where I thought I saw what I might not have seen.

Yeah, I don't think the VK site has been updated in while. I'm pretty sure there's a pic floating around of the back of the Rude guitar, but for some reason I can't find it at the moment.

I always really dug the Rude guitar...till somebody on this site pointed out that the stripe on the top horn looks like a dick. Now I can't unsee it.
